hey i am going up tomorrow hopefully i hate to say this but its not snowing to hard i want to be able to see this is my first time there,where would you recommend groundhog or yanks? also my buddy backed out on me at last minute his loss i am going anyway it should'nt be to hard to hook up with someone but if you see me there solo i am on a rmk900 red would'nt mind someone showing me the way if they would be kind enouph. thx

Don't worry about seeing anything there but snow. The more pow it dumps during the day the better.
It was sure nice to see snow today everone had a great day except a few guys who broke down or hit a rock,trail in was a bit bumpey but oh well great time over all. Supposed to snow there all week it will be awesome if it does,attached a few photos.
anyone been up to yanks this week that might know the conditions as of late?
I was out on monday 17th it was pretty warm 4-5 degrees and the snow had gone very heavy almost spring like there was a range of snow depth around 2-4' depending on where you were and all the creeks and creek holes were all open and still running. We need the cooler weather to freeze everything up good, but all in all it was a pretty good first ride and there is a good base being developed up there. If you're going up the Likely side the chute on the shortcut trail is pretty sketchy as the creek was still running and there were alot of exposed rocks and cordeuroyed logs and stumps sticking out all over on the way up it.
Ya on saturday we went up from the 3100 road it was a bumpy ride in,going up this sunday forcast looks pretty good and your right the base is going to be great. Hopefully we get some more powder up top before the weekend its been colder and creeks are probably almost frozen.
Any new news?? Going to head up there in 2 wks. Where are you guys dropping at?
I saw a few trucks parked at 150 Mile House last night with sleds in the back. What was it like Kevy?
Chrispy it rocked ! same amount of snow as nov 11 and still 8" of fresh!
how much do u think there is in total ?
took my probe out and checked it on nov 14 and there was 90cm. i heard it has snowed but it warmed up and has packed down.
2'2"west side Yanks in the meadow just before the west side hillclimb !
Any updates? I think a couple of us are heading out tomorrow if we can get organized.
