Grand Mesa Lodge for Thanksgiving

Looks like a trp to Grand Mesa Lodge over thanksgiving weekend, two years ago we did this trip over thanksgiving weekend and had 3 feet of fresh snow to play in. Here is hoping for an early snow!!!!!

Deffinitely wouldn't plan on 3 ft fresh, but if you're into fishing, the brookie spawn will still be in effect if you can find open water. Best fishing of the year.....! Rumor has it the new state record was caught up there this summer.....old record stood for over 60 years.......!

I hear ya on the snow, could be anything to none. But the folks at Grand Mesa Lodge are alot of fun so if nothing else it will be a nice getaway. If warm enough I guess we could rent a canoe and paddle around the lake.

But I still keep remembering that 3 foot of fresh two years ago! :smow:

Corp, what is the average snow for thanksgiving up there?

Turkey Day

Sounds like fun snow or no snow. Mike and Rose are great. Love this place.
If you go think of Connie she is missed::brokenheart: I have to work:sorry:

It's gonna snow this weekend. Hopefully we get a foot. Most of the good lakes are frozen now, only the big ones remain open and they will likely be frozen very soon.

I guess this answers the question about snow..... Pic from last Sunday.
