GOSSIP TALK ABOUT MSRP ON THE 2013 RMKS

That is for the prize. Keep reading msrp for the sled is $11799
Guess will have to wait on a real price. Just went back and looked at it again since this morning when i posted the other numbers, and its changed. The wording and even the canadian price is different then what it was this morning.

MSRP for a 2012 Pro was 11,799. Pricing for 2013 to be announced at dealer show March 5!

US contest estimated value based off of MY12 MSRP of sled: $11,799. Total estimated contest value including trip and sled: $14,500.

It says that the winner gets Prize (1) a 2013 Polaris® 800 Pro RMK® 155 snowmobile and a trip for two to Roseau, MN, to take a Polaris factory tour. USD MSRP: $14,500/CAD MSRP: $15,500. Sponsor: Polaris Industries Inc. Wouldn't they calculate the trip and tour into the msrp?

Yes.

TO BE CLEAR.....

The price shown in the CONTEST is the value of the Prize altogether including the sled, accessory "goodies"

There will be no pricing or MSRP released until the dealer meeting on March 5th.

Plain and simple... the MSRP will be significantly lower that the value declared for the entire contest prize package.

OK Chill !!!:face-icon-small-coo:face-icon-small-coo You all sound like a bunch of women bitching about prices at a rummage sale!!! First you cant buy it today anyway, and you never get close to any of those prices when you go in for a deal?? Ok we need way more snow everywhere so you guys can calm down and ride a bit instead of bickering like old ladies!!!:face-icon-small-dis
BTW Winter Brew that is funny as sheet!!!

The notion that there are tax rmaifications to free sleds, accessories, trips, etc. must be beyond the comprehension of much of the audience. Anyway, if you register to win the 2013 sled, accessories and trip, Polaris must let you know what the approximate value is for IRS and State Tax Agency purposes. Hence, the total value of the package is estimated to be $14,500. I have reliable information that indicates the 2013sled will cost very little more than the 2012 sled.

No kidding. Some people are a little thick in the head. I can't believe there can be almost two pages of bitching about the price of a sled. But this is the internet so maybe I can believe it.

I have gone over this thread very carefully but i am not clear on one thing. Is $14,500 the price of the sled or is that the price of the sled and trip? $14,500 seems kinda high for a sled alone but no one will just come out and say it!

Has it been mentioned yet that the price include the TRIP and the sled?

Let me go see if anyone mentioned that yet...

No kidding...I can't believe how stupid the conversation on the price of the sled is. It's the haters floating in from other 4M sections finding ways to hate on the new sled. If you don't like it don't buy it. For those of us that want the new 2013, we will see the price soon enough.

Good good people....

The price will NOT be announced till March.
Anything you hear is all speculation.

Don't even look at that 14k rumor. That is the VALUE of the prize. Not the price is the sled.

Haha.
