GOSSIP TALK ABOUT MSRP ON THE 2013 RMKS

Good job Polaris, there will be some happy customers next year for sure!
But $14,500?? That really surprises me...$2K+ more? Really? :face-icon-small-dis
I thought the 12,600 retail on a 163 etec-X was too much.

Didn't see the tour part in that price, my bad....but are they really charging for tours?

whats so hard to understand? It costs money to send 2 people to Rossieu and I'd assume they prolly put them in a hotel for a night too? travel+hotel is hopefully put in there(and hopefully first class flight w/5star accomadations at that price!). I'd hate to think the price would be more than 12,500$

Well it says that the 14,500 is the value of the sled, and a round trip for two to visit the plant on a polaris company plane, 2 nights lodging and meals.

Yes $14,500 is a suggested price for the Sled and the Trip.

Damn straight! They beat my price expectation by $500! WAHOOOOOOO

The value of my WAY BETTER THAN NEW 2011 custom PRO just SKY ROCKETED! Finally I don't get hosed by Polaris corporate! Ahhh that feels kinda good. Carry on

That's exactly how I felt! I was actually smiling ear to ear....

It's just waht they value it at....lol the trip is freeeeeee

Wa Wa Wa......

Let down. Today we get bold new graphics!

$14500 are you kidding.

I wouldn't pay an additional $3000 for what they have done.

Price way too high

14,500? Are you kidding? I was set on snow checking, but there better be some major incentives for that. I could have snow checked a 12 for 11,500.

They DID NOT do enough to justify that kind of price jump in my opinion going from an MSRP of $11,800 to $14,500. That's a jump of $2,700 for a belt drive? Isn't that more than an aftermarket system? Shouldn't there be some price advantage for having never installed a chain drive in the first place? How much extra could the seat have been? (none) the running boards? (minimal) Two carbon fiber rods? (what a joke) New lower A-arms? ( very minimal) What are they trying to do, keep pace with Ski-Doo on pricing? :face-icon-small-fro

Now I'm kinda glad my wife told me no on the snowcheck. That much of a price jump is ridiculous. What a letdown.

Hope you're following these threads Polaris

All of the changes you mention involve new tooling and/or manufacturing processes. Not to mention, the $14,500 MSRP includes the trip costs, so the sled MSRP should be significantly less.

I'm not sure what the true MSRP is but if you have an 11 or 12 (I have a 12 and love it), I don't see any reason to rush out and snowcheck the 13!

A lot of hype but not near enough bite for this cowboy to pull the trigger.

I'll wait for some bigger changes and snow check after the first year before they get my deposit.

Their "share your moment" on the web site says, US $14,500. Canada, $15,500.

How often do you have to change the belt on the new drive?
I don't care for the white color and size of the windshield but I would guess there will be many options.:face-icon-small-hap

Honestly, That is like $2000 higher than last year msrp. Hmmm me thinks they failed to mention something this morning.

Everyone knows you are a huge Doo loyalist so anything Polaris released was going to be a let down in your book. If you would read the posts you would see that the $14,500 is part of the package to go to MN. Even if it is just for the sled it puts the price closer to that of the E-tec. Stop flamming, there are some cool things coming from Polaris. Don't commit suicide if Doo doesn't have something huge.

Dealers don't get their pricing info until the dealer meeting in March so I doubt we will know for sure until they do. Unless there is a dealer on here that can let us know.

They need to put the real price out to end the confusion. Polaris did a good job marketing this week. But I think everyone that has been caught up in the hype was expecting a little more. An official release typically includes the MSRP....

I would pay an additional $500 for the belt drive and boards. $12400 Max.

Tim- I own both brands.....And Ski Doo does have big changes coming.

Fierce competition between manufactures is good for us consumers.

Sorry, if it really is $14,500.00 usd as the site states, I will ride my 11 a year or two more. That is crazy!!! Any body want to sell me a boss seat to fit a 11 pro? That is if the new set of pistons and rings hold up better now that I am running oil in my gas.

BTW: Rmkmtnrider, the motor is the basically the same motor as the dragon motor from what I understand. Injectors, location of injector, and number of injectors being the only difference. Somebody can correct if I am wrong but it's been pretty much the same design for the last 5 years, right?

you guys all have you panties in bunch over the price. for LEGAL reasons for TAXING purposes they have to post the MSRP value of the Sled and Trip, because you pay income tax on contest winnings. The MSRP for the sled is not announced, so chill out!

My guess is that it will still be cheaper than last years Summit X ETEC. My official price guess - $12399 for 155" pro and $12599 for the 163".
