GOSSIP TALK ABOUT MSRP ON THE 2013 RMKS

I don't know about you guys but I have never seen a sled sold for msrp. at the dealer I deal with. Do you buy cars for sticker price?

ok, didn't see the price included a trip. that will make a difference and no, not to many people pay msrp. but i still stand by what i said above. a few more weeks and we'll all have a much better idea. again, the motor DOES make more power. not the 20+hp some were wanting but there is still an increase.

Honestly, That is like $2000 higher than last year msrp. Hmmm me thinks they failed to mention something this morning.
I agree with you 100%. If that dollar number is including $2000 for a trip to Roseau I would gladly not go to Roseau.
All BS aside I would guess the 2013s will be $300-$400 more at best. :face-icon-small-dis

Good job Polaris, there will be some happy customers next year for sure!
But $14,500?? That really surprises me...$2K+ more? Really? :face-icon-small-dis
I thought the 12,600 retail on a 163 etec-X was too much.

Didn't see the tour part in that price, my bad....but are they really charging for tours?

Polaris states on their facebook page that this price of $14,500 includes the trip and is an estimated value for the whole package.

14,500? Are you kidding? I was set on snow checking, but there better be some major incentives for that. I could have snow checked a 12 for 11,500.
And now the dealers are selling the 2012 for $10,400.
It would be a cold day in hell before I would pay $12,000 for a sled, let alone $14,500. Anyway I find it hard to believe they will go up that much from last year.
And if they do I will wait to the following spring/summer and save $3,000:behindsofa:

so according to the contest rules, the sled and trip cost $14,500 but the sled MSRP is $11,799! looks like the pro xr 800 is going to be a back up, and a new pro will be in the garage :face-icon-small-coo

that is the estimate for the 2012 model year, not the 13. i complete guess is $12,500

and to answer the question above, yes all these changes will apply to the 600.

they are not claiming any hp increase but the motor and mapping have been refined there there will be some. thing the 11 to 12. there is NO cover over the belt drive and the didn't do anything to midigate snow ingestion at the foot wells. i definitely see the potential for some issues but i think they would be easily resolved. the pic show is of the standard rmk model. the snowcheck will have other options. pricing and warranty details will be released march 5 at the dealers' meeting.

What was msrp last year on the 2012's?

Do you mean the MSRP on the 2013 is $11,799?:face-icon-small-con

i called my dealer here in wisconsin on the msrp of the 13's. they ended up calling there rep. And from what he relayed to me was polaris wont b releasing a price for a month or so.

At $14,500 I think my 11 will be just fine.:face-icon-small-dis
I don't know if the weight reduction is worth the extra. Need to ride one.:face-icon-small-coo

that is the msrp for the 2012, not the 2013. my WAG is $12,500.00

although in another thread with a spec sheet that listed the details on the 13 did list 11,799 as msrp. not sure where that info came from or if it will hold up but supposedly they haven't said what the msrp is and won't until march 5 at the dealers meeting.

wow thats a price jump almost as much as a doo have to wait and see what doo has to offer for that price

Once again... that is not the price of the sled. That is what the entire cost of the grand prize would be if you won. (Being airfare, food, hotel, sled, etc)

Ya at first when I saw the price of the 2013 was $14,500 I almost shat myself! Especially since the price only went up $500 when they introduced the Pro Rmk from the IQ chassis. That was a whole new sled with tons of improvements and 41lbs weight loss from the Dragon. Now I would believe the $11,799 MSRP. I guessed $12000 for the 13... Sweet sled, not sure if it worth the upgrade from my 11 or 12... I really was hoping for a new motor! I think why everyone seems kinda disappointed is because they gave away their "crown jewel"(belt drive) two days before the reveal of the sled. I was expecting the something to out do that. Oh well, great improvements!
