For questions like this...I've moved all gossip talk of the 2013 RMK's to this Thread.

I have gone over this thread very carefully but i am not clear on one thing. Is $14,500 the price of the sled or is that the price of the sled and trip? $14,500 seems kinda high for a sled alone but no one will just come out and say it!

THIS:

The MSRP for the 2013 sled is not announced and won't until march 5 :behindsofa:, so chill out! :sorry: :bolt:

Is the reality of the situation... ANY price that you see ANYWHERE but Polaris Industries Website until March 5th is NOT accurate.

TO BE CLEAR.....

The price shown in the CONTEST is the value of the Prize altogether including the sled, accessory "goodies", accommodations, and Transport to Roseau.

There will be no pricing or MSRP released until the dealer meeting on March 5th.

Plain and simple... the MSRP will be significantly lower that the value declared for the entire contest prize package.

If you read the fine print on their "moment" contest, it shows an MSRP of $14,500

and when you think about it, 14500 isn't that bad for a sub-420lb sled that comes stock with great boards, good seat, and a lightweight silencer. Those 3 alone cost upwards of a grand

14,500? Are you kidding? I was set on snow checking, but there better be some major incentives for that. I could have snow checked a 12 for 11,500.

I hear complaints....Really?

I say 417 lbs. and a belt drive is off the hook amazing!!!

The price tag is big, but you've gotta pay to play! And, it helps make a 9,000.00 2012 800 Pro seem very inexpensive, to help them get rid of inventory. The final reveal was maybe a little anti-climatic, but they got the buzz they wanted....all week/month long! Also, lots of ways to make more hp! :face-icon-small-win

It says that the winner gets Prize (1) a 2013 Polaris® 800 Pro RMK® 155 snowmobile and a trip for two to Roseau, MN, to take a Polaris factory tour. USD MSRP: $14,500/CAD MSRP: $15,500. Sponsor: Polaris Industries Inc. Wouldn't they calculate the trip and tour into the msrp?

thanks but no thanks

Well, it looks pretty nice BUT there was a whole lot of hype there boys. And the price...pretty steep but even my 09 XP is 425 lbs with a can and 150 hp and there's no way you could build that a few years ago for $15000. especially if you go back to say 2000 or there abouts. Anyway nice job Polaris, now let's see what Doo brings!

Figure new leftover 2012 pro, maybe 10,000ish add skinz boards, titanium a arms, 2013 seat and your still less than the 2013 list price and just as light, now another 2300 for slp stage 4 , same price, +20 hp

The price on the contest page incluced the cost of the sled plus the cost of meeting the engineers at the plant. So the sled cost will be less than the total prize value.
