Pretty sure my pressure is right around 65 psi. Friend has basically same truck and tires and he hets 50-55k per set. He's on his 3rd set

Ive ran them on 2 different trucks. First was an 09 Dodge 3500 mega cab and now on a 2010 Dodge 2500 longbox crew. These are great tires, I haul my swather wich including the trailer weigh's around 26000 as well as my 24' stock trailer loaded and have no problem. I do notice a little side wall flex when I have them air'd down, but it sure rides better! Unloaded I run 60 psi in the front 45-50 in the rear when Im pulling alot I run 80psi in all 4

Fleet of over 50 trucks running Duratrac's

I have a fleet of over 50 Ford F-350's, Dodge 3500's and Ford Expeditions and from the day we buy the trucks they go to Fountain Tire and have them installed. We are seeing 60,000kms as an average on these tires 80% of our driving is offroad which is VERY good in our industry. The "sidewall" flex is not what you are feeling its called tread squirm which happens on any deep lug tire with ANY kind of good winter/mud/wet traction. If you are running a tire pressure that is too low you will feel sidewall squirm as well which adds to the tread squirm so keep your pressures up. We have one studded set on a dually and they are simply amazing. These are the best tire in my opinion made for year round traction in snow, ice, mud and wet pavement. Yes there are tires that will last you ALOT longer but you have to sacrifice traction for wear the perfect tire 100,000kms WITH traction will not be released any time soon. I had 10 years in the tire industry as a manager before owning my current company so I have tried and seen all available options. Buy these tires you will not be disappointed.

Have a set of studded duratrac on my 2011 F150 and all I can say is they are amazing. stopping on Ice is no problem, running 70 mph up the pass with snowmobile trailer, darn thing is rock solid and doesn't slide a bit... Love them!

based upon the feedback from this thread I just replaced the stock tires off my 2011 f250 with a set and they are night and day difference.

was in the UP this past week and literally got the 250 stuck in a few inches of snow. was the last straw for me. Heading to Tog next week and wasn't going to do it with the stock tires.

Slightly more road noise and appears to be about 1mpg difference, but I'll take traction over mpg any day.

Four Wheel and Off Road Magazine just published their thoughts on a bunch of tires (not all tires, but around 30 of the most popular choices for off-road trucks) and generally speaking, the Goodyear Duratrac and Silent Armor had the most stars. These two matched each other with total stars, but the SA ranked 1 star more on Street and the DT ranked 1 star more in mud.

Then I took their info, assigned scores coorelating to the stars (1-4), and assigned weighted % to each category they had (street, rock, mud, snow, ice, sand) and for my purposes I found the Silent Armor and Duratrac scored in the top two positions again.

Here is how I weighted them based upon importance in these categories:

Street 25%
Rock 0%
Sand 0%
Snow 35%
Mud 15%
Ice 25%
