but I am interested to know the thoughts of a pot smoker and why you want to sacrifice your body just to get high. C'mon what are your reasons??

Pot has medically beneficial effects. This isn't a widely advertised fact in the US for obvious reasons. I'd recommend reading some medical research studies done over seas on the benefits of smoking pot. It could be enlightening to you.

Again, these aren't the thoughts of a pot smoker you asked for...just facts.

weed is a drug and supports crime with users and sellers stealing everything to support the said crime, like stealing our trucks and sleds. My truck was stolen once and broke into another time both for the $$ to buy drugs. The first time they stole my truck to sell drugs on the street. Just pull up to them and shot them in the head! No more problem!

The question was: Are you just a weak person, or are there other issues why you need to use a controlled substance?

As I stated I view the use of controlled substances as being weak. To each their own, but I am interested to know the thoughts of a pot smoker and why you want to sacrifice your body just to get high. C'mon what are your reasons??

Snow fox, you're an idiot! I view religion as a weakness but usually keep my opinion to my self, my opinion. Pot is harmless compared to alcohol or any thing else and if you don't like it keep your opinion to your self.

To each their own - peace

You posted that you view religion as a weakness and that you keep your opinion to yourself..............a little contradictory in my opinion.......

Who's the idiot now.......and no Pot is not a harmless drug!

So what is the point to smoking it if you do not need it for medicinal purposes?

not a smoker but I imagine part of the appeal could be the ritual of it....the relaxing that leads to it. Kinda like an old man who has his after dinner pipe in the lounge with his favorite sweater on.

Course by your ideals, I'm a weak human. I do drink to relax and escape life. Yep every night I like to sit down after dinner and enjoy a nice beer of various styles. Just one, maybe two. I open the top and hear the hiss, then I choose my glassware and begin to pour the beer.

I marvel at and inspect the pour, the color of the beer and the formation of the head. Then I stick my nose down and smell the aromas and try and place them.

Next I take a sip and let it savor on my palate and find the different tastes and proceed to enjoy the creation of the beer.

Yep just one, so for me the alcohol really doens't affect my reality, but taking the time to enjoy and appreciate the creation and work that went into it helps me to escape and unwind from the day just a little bit.

Each to there own. Weak? come on, a little mind escape is better for me than a couch. I have a couple of beers everyonce in a while for a little buzz, but I quit the KGB because I could't remember where I put it. :D

YES, To each their own. Alcohol is a legal drug, what is not legal is Marijuana. So why use an illegal drug for recreation purposes?

I respect your opinion. There are alot of laws on the books that don't make sense. I think the majority agree that it is a outdated law. Except the "religious right" Which they are not.

everyone is entitled to my opinion, and here it is

If pot is consumed recreationally, then it is no different than alcohol. Unfortunately, the pot today is a lot different than the stink weed we grew up with. it is 100 times as strong and often laced with additives to ensure customer loyalty. Pot is now the leading cause of psychosis in teenage kids in the USA.

I just spent a year in long term drug rehab for my daughter. You can tell the difference between the pot heads and the kids addicted to cocaine and chemicals. It would take the potheads almost 2 months before they began to speak clearly. It was painful to watch them because their minds were almost shot.

These kids were the 2% of the high school population who became level 3 and 4 addicts. The other 98% of the kids didn't use anything (abstained), were infrequesnt users (recreational), or used to much without becomming addicted. Pot is no different than alcohol but it is also no different to lsd or cocaine. It is just as addictive when used by someone who is pre-wired to be an addict to something.

Alcohol wasn't always legal. Times have changed and we should stop waisting money fighting this particular item. I feel the only reason they don't legalize is for control, you can grow it in your closet, so no tax money coming from that....I would venture to say that alcohol has caused way more problems in society than pot.

You are plain and simple........... a JERK. Congrats you will be the 1st person to be on my ignore list. You have no interest in knowing anything from others. You are a simple minded instigator who gets a thrill out of creating a perceived superiority over others with your beliefs. There is nothing weaker in a person character!! Nothing. Your game of ambiguity regarding your sex and career are also symptom of weakness. You really should do some self reflection and worry about your own short comings.

So for me you serve no other purpose other that to irritate and agitate.
There are many many more people on here that I can converse with that are honest, open, sincere and interesting. And that is what I intend to do.

Bye BEEEAAAOOOCCCHHHH!!!!!!!

Since you keep editing this post, I will respond to it again.

I guess if you need to pick up your crayons, go home and pout in the corner because I am "berating" you then so be it.....

You have obviously enjoyed the little things in life a bit to much and fried your brain more than I thought if you think my posts about politics, shooting buffalo, guns, wanting to kick a car salesman's ***, etc. led you to believe that I am of the female sex.............I guess I have heard it all now.

Not trying to be rude but that is a huge fallacy in the argument against Marijuana being legalized. There have been studies that have been done to test the levels of THC in weed . Do some research on it and you will find that there is little to no difference in the levels of thc that you could get in weed from 30 years ago and today. Just the more potent 5%-10% THC leveled weed is a bit more common these days.

Also if it was legalized and regulated like alcohol is then because of the quality control people would not be getting weed that is laced with additives.

and no Pot is not a harmless drug!
It's the product of the devil and all who partake in it should be banished to hell! Just one puff and you'll feel the red horns pop out of your skull. Convert them over to being drunks that kill innocent people with their vehicles. That's more socially acceptable.

Some of you sound like you're confusing crack heads with pot smokers!

Thanks for the insight, we are both a little off but I do stand corrected.

when I grew up, we smoked homegrown which had a THC level of less than 1/2 of 1 %. Today, the levels are between 7.5% and 24% ( http://www.acde.org/common/Marijana.htm ) .

Basic math is that todays' pot is at least 15 to 50 times as strong as I grew up with.

If it was legalized, then more people would try it. This may seem strange but some people respect the law or are afraid fo the consequences of getting arrested. The laws do act as a restraint on drug use for some people.

true this maybe.....but the Feds don't care if you make your own beer or wine(maybe liquor I don't know) as long as it is for personal use and you do not try and make profit. I can give you home brew and be fine but if I ask for money in return I'm violating laws.

I imagine that the same idea would be used with Cannibis.

I thought snow fox was a hells angel kinda guy?
