The producers really need to do something about Dakota Fred and his overacting. I think he thinks he's a hillybilly version of Jack Nicholson or something.

That dakota fred is a dip#@#* for sure he begs parker to dig him out so he can mine. Then throws him a big f u on the electrical box and parker agrees to give him temp access, then gets mad when its not the perfect bridge that he is used to. Kinda looks like fred is in the one who rolls in for the summer and wants all the locals to bend over backwards to help him.
After the 3 second suspense with a knife in his hand he cut open a box of welding sticks. He is a tool for sure.

That show is scripted. Someone dipping into the jar makes for drama. If it wasnt for Discovery paying them there is no way they would have been able to existed. They worked a entire year and made basically no profit. Yet every one of them kept saying how much debt they have. If you make no profit you dont pay off your debt. and you must get a real job.
Yeah, they're in debt but every year they show up with newer trucks and bigger campers. Right.

its funny how tv always has a way of ruining anything good,i do agree alot of scripted bs has the show goes on,they did that with lost to-at first it was addicting then it just got stupid
scripted junk that does nothing more than make people from the US look stupid. Same goes for the logging show that used to be on. Had a damn glass truck on the landing for 6 hours trying to catch the perfect shot of an accidental break out of a window only to replace it and do it again.
