God I hope I made a good decison..........

I wouldn't worry about it everyone tends to make everything a bigger deal then it is! You'll love the sled!

No doubt about that. I will agree the forums tend to add a sense of exaggeration to the issues. I would consider them more of a tool for forecasting "potential" problems. Although, I personally have had a few.

One thing that just cracks me up though. All the folks that make statements like "insert the blank miles and no problems". Good grief, it's a 13,000 dollar machine! I would hope you don't have any problems under 1500 miles! Sorry folks, not meant as an insult. I just think that snowmobiles, and maybe Polaris, have managed to set the bar so low on reliability we don't really hold them accountable to a higher standard. Yeah, I know I've said it before...:sorry:

You will NOT be sorry. We just rode our 2013 Pro RMKs all week in Togwotee. We hammered them hard in deep snow, jumps, hitting logs, stumps, rocks, etc. They ran perfect and are an absolute blast. We ride a lot of very steep and thick trees, and you can go anywhere on this sled, with 1/2 the effort of the other brands. Had a brand new XM in the group, as well as a '12 XP, and it was not even close. Both Doo guys are loyal to their brand, and they were both VERY impressed with the Pro. Have fun and don't worry about all the forum b.s. I can honestly say that riding the other sleds is half as much fun as riding the Pro RMK. I was grinning everyday on my new Pro!

I love the sled but polaris has a few weak points to address
250 miles 1 blown qd belt, 1 broken back bumper from the snow flap hitting it and now my rear shock is sagged out.

It is not only Polaris my neighbor bent 2 cat skids in 15 days on 2 new m8s.
First one stabbed the track at 50 mph and sent him cartwheeling and wrecked the sled. The second time he said he heard the rails snap and stopped in time no other damage was done. Sled had a total of about 1000 ft on it.

They are all way to fragile for what we pay. IMHO

Blew a belt already huh? Was this the belt that came on the sled I am assuming that was used? Or were you the one that did the break in etc?

Yes I'm the one who broke it in. I took it real easy for the first 100 miles or so, them at about 215 miles she grenades under acceleration.
