Gloves-which ones last

North Adventure powder storm gloves Rule, Multiple seasons on one pair. Just bought a second pair for backups. I bought a pair of klim klimate gloves last year for backup and the seams ripped after 2 times wearing them.

I researched the hell out of this before I bought my Powder Storm gloves and can't wait to try them out. I, too, had the Klim gloves and they barely lasted a season. Klim did warranty them and I have a brand new pair sitting here if anyone wants to buy them. :p

I second/third this. I've used these for the last three seasons. They hold up really well compared to the 'other' gloves I have used. They are warm enough but not too warm. I bring three pairs with me just in case. They do get a little wet from time to time but just take em off, wring them out and they are good to go for another couple hours. Once the extra water is out of them they will heat right up and keep you comfortable. Plus, they are rather thin for the protection they provide and allow you a really good grip; almost on par with a pair of really thin MX gloves.

I really like the thinner glove, it lets the hand warmer really do it's job. I really like the great grip on the bars also. I use sno seal on the leather like fabric portion of the gloves and really helps to keep the gloves from getting wet. I normally just use one pair of gloves unless it happens to be a stuckfest day.

where do you get these north adventure gloves everyone is raving about. sound like something I want to try

LOL !!! the shocker!!

I have been wearing the REIMA gloves in the last few years, nice glove, but they get wet. They are about average for wear, but I bought some Klims and will see how those fair.
I bought CASTLE gloves. NEVER EVER AGAIN!! After a weekend, they were getting smelly, like old sneakers, I tried washing them, with no success.
They would not dry. I had them on the register for 24 hours and they trapped the moisture inside. I am gonna return them, and see if they will give me my money back.

I have a pair of the storm and a pair of the powder storm gloves. Both work great, best i've ever had. The strorms are great on warmer days, great grip on the bars. The powders are nice in deep powder or when it is snowing. They seem to dry quickly also. True Adventure gear used to have a promotion that if you bought a beacon, the would throw in a pair of the storm gloves.

I love my True Adventure Gear gloves. They are not the warmest if it is a really cold day, but other than that they are great. Got a year and a half on mine and they still look new. I also have a couple pairs of Scott/Reima Warrior gloves. Not as thin as the TAG gloves, less handlebar feel, but warmer. They get wet by the end of the day. I am going to try a pair of the Ironclad Tundras and maybe a pair of the Cabela gloves this year.

I like my True Adventure Gear Powder Storm gloves. Only thing I don't like about them is I ride in areas that get wet snow and sometimes the fingers on the gloves will freeze and then they get cold. I'm starting to think it might be the material on the fingers of the gloves. They would be awesome gloves if you ride in dry snow all the time. They are still a good glove though, very comfy. I think a different material on the fingers or just different gloves is needed for somebody that rides in wet snow areas though. Or just carry two pairs I guess. I'm either gonna try new gloves or buy another pair.

The last two seasons I have used the Klim Tog for my main gloves but have honestly worn them out in about 15 rides. The first set I sent in and they warrantied them. The second set they didn't and told me that they were at the end of their useful life. Love Klim but need a different glove.

I prefer a glove with a gator for the deep snow days. Which gloves hold up?

I use Klim stuff or True Adventure gear but both do wear out or split in the web area of my fingers. It's just something all gloves I buy do. It don't matter what brand or not.

I use the Klim Togwotee only for the cold days around the midwest.
I use the Klim Klimate I think or basically a gator style thin glove for out west and most riding. I figure a season on my most used gloves is good, I do have off brands for back up in my pack just so I can ride home in comfort if the other ones got wet or whatever.
