You must not realize that domestic oil, gas, and coal is incentivized with tax breaks. Massive tax breaks.

I don't get the opposition to higher emissions standards. Do you know what the air was like before they instituted them? It has improved even with population increase. It hasn't increased auto prices. It hasn't decreased horsepower. That have been the case in 1997. That was nearly 25 years ago. So electric cars and trucks are here now and we don't want them? Why? Because change is scary? Remember when people used horse drawn buggies? I don't.
