Global warming - fixed!

Man I was hoping for a better explanation. Incentives don't direct consumers. You have total control of your choice.

You must not realize that domestic oil, gas, and coal is incentivized with tax breaks. Massive tax breaks.

I'll let you guess which incentive is greater when compared to renewables.

I don't get the opposition to higher emissions standards. Do you know what the air was like before they instituted them? It has improved even with population increase. It hasn't increased auto prices. It hasn't decreased horsepower. That have been the case in 1997. That was nearly 25 years ago. So electric cars and trucks are here now and we don't want them? Why? Because change is scary? Remember when people used horse drawn buggies? I don't.

Here's your incentive , fix this .
Difficult problem but not impossible. We had the same issue with carbon fiber years ago but the ability to reuse and recycle is happening now.

WindEurope, Vestas, and Re-wind are already working solutions out.

This is what we do. Find solutions to problems that we created ourselves a generation ago.

Should have said steer the public. Tax breaks for electric vehicles, renewable solar and wind power. Tax hikes on fuel and limit the availability to transport more economical thus raising cost. Efficiency in everything should be pushed more then directing people with money.

Efficiency in everything is pushed but people still choose to drive Yukon XLs. I recently got to drive a Hyundai kona electric that a friend just bought for his wife. I was blown away, the thing drove great. It’s got plenty of range for everything but an interstate road trip, and like he said, ya take the truck with all your toys on a long trip anyway And the instant torque is awesome. And you can actually park it in most places unlike a Yukon XL. And it’s totally smooth and silent. Only thing it won’t do is haul 6 300 pounders...

Do I miss the piped M1000? Fun as it was, not really. sure like being able to ride twice as far or more on a tank of gas on a ‘19 Doo 850 and not having deep days cut short because I burned my whole tank and a 20L Jerry by 12:30...

Don’t need any incentives to convince me that either of those products is waaaay superior to their predecessors.

This isn't generations , it's now your holiness . You really do look down the end of your nose don't you .

Yet your mileage still sucks , what the hell is wrong with you two ??? Do you think we live under a rock .

Simple is working on this too ?https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/6/20951807/electric-vehicles-battery-recycling

Um, what mileage sucks???

Everything produces waste. How do you think the wind turbine blades you referenced compare to the waste, fuel consumption, impact of mining and carbon production compared to, say, coal?

There is no magic bullet. Generating power produces waste in one way or another. But, like I said before, it’s really easy to use just a bit less... do people really need all the lights on all the time?

Funny how something like what mileage sucks has to all of a sudden be spelled out to such an intelligent person . 2.'5 million maintenance on 13 turbines last year on an island , ya that works while adding to the bill of the consumers monthly .

Go to Hawaii and see which island you can find the graveyard of wind turbines that will be there long past us .

Just step back like I mentioned before and get proactive like cleaning up that mass produced vehicle you people drive . Just because it passes current epa regulations doesn't mean anything . You just another sheeple or statistic or what ever but it's obvious that neither of you are doing anything when it comes to digging it out of your own pocket but someone else .

So what is it that either have you personally taken on to make this planet a better place ?

Plant a tree or two ? Groom a trail ?

Talking to Kawksteer is like trying to drill a hole in concrete with your finger.

Dude, I'm in Maui right now working on two rehabilitation projects. Fixing infrastructure from a generation ago. I'm pretty sure I've done a bit more than plant some trees at this point. Go back to your Alaskan cabin you kook. I swear I can never understand why Trumptards only care about money. They barely understand how money moves around but it is the taxpayer who suffers! Give me a break. You have it so easy in America. Big government bad because you can't even comprehend the dollars that are spent regularly. Then Republicans drive up the debt but you keep voting for them. It never makes sense. You trust them but they screw you over and over but they way they do just sounds better than the Democrats.

Yeah, sure makes sense to haul in diesel to power an island like Maui that has abundant wind and solar. Both my sisters live there so I’ve got a pretty accurate picture of that situation ...

One of the things I do, as a general contractor, is build only very energy efficient and passive homes rather than code minimum. And I’m a certified passive house consultant. It’s really not that hard to do and people want them. The technology is actually quite simple and works very well.

I also ride a snowmobile and drive a truck (no more F250 super duty , the little ecoboost seems to be working great) so my **** stinks too, but I recognize that there is an issue and I try to make decisions in my daily life that reduce my impact without stopping what I want to do. It’s actually pretty easy.

Again try not to ask these guys to think about people other than themselves. It hurts their feelings. It is all about their money and how nobody should get any of it. If they do pay taxes the government is responsible to send them an itemized receipt of how their money was spent then they get to judge if that money was well spent. Did I sum up fiscal conservatives? Well it did before they turned in Trumptards.

Yeah, you pretty much nailed it. Kinda strange for a bunch of “christians”.

Aren't we cute , I'm a small self employed business owner and I'd like to know whom I'm dealing with . Self proclaimed knuckle dragger how about if we just lay it out there to get to know each other a little better ? My better half would probably enjoy it too , that person is a CFO of a 2 plus billion dollar company and maybe you guys do some work for one of the many subsidaries and than we can get past all this hierarchy . How's that sound ?

I'm good thanks. Between consulting and running several small businesses I've got my hands full of work. Diversified enough to weather any political ****storm and not holding any debt that can't be liquidated quickly. Lots of renewable energy products on my to-do list but just waiting for the next round of incentives since the orange idiot Trump didn't put any effort into actually stimulating growth in that market. Bye to that moron.

This is way above your paygrade floor sweeper

Keep dreaming about that free trip to Chile with Burandt. It was all a 509 video you were watching while sleeping.

Wow, that’s quite the flex. Do you feel like a badass now?

Hey JTK from Canada, you still into the party that sexually exploits kids and child trafficking and supports that? Because you know, how does that saying go "Silence is complicit" on pedophilia and you have been silent therefore, you know the rest.

Freaking pedo, I'm done with you JTK.

I might throw some memes after your junk logic, but do know that I think you are a hapless and worthless POS who I wouldn't want to trade lives with under any circumstances. Have a great existence, I'm out!

So if your response is __________ I don't give af about that either.
