Get my wisdom teeth pulled out on Friday!

when i had mine pulled i had to get knocked out because of how one of my teeth was coming in. I don't remember anything until noon the next day. Everyone had great laughs at my pain and loopyness, so i am told. the only problem i had was hitting the stiches when i went to wash the food out of em.

glad i didn't have some of the ordeals others have.

Kind of funny to see this post today. I'm sitting here with my lower right one beating the chit out of my mouth! I've had two pulled by my dentist and all I can say is that the regular cleaning is waaay worse for me then getting them pulled. He's awesome. This tooth has been in for two years, and like someone mentioned before, if it's not messing anything up, why pull it. Well, in the last two days...ohhh buddy. Can't get in until Tues. so it's gonna be a fun weekend. I think I may have an abcess, but not sure. The whole right side of my face is starting to swell just a little. Think I'll pop a few amoxicillin and ride it out.

Had my 4 wisdom teeth and 4 others pulled all without being knocked out. You can say that I am use to the routine. It is not too bad, especially if they can cut them most of the way out before they bring out the prybar. I was lucky not to get drysocket on any of them, however.

a couple of weeks ago one of my other friends got his out and they gave him a vicodin(again spelling?) sub. and told him to take advil. lol he was so pissed cause he was in so much pain he couldnt even talk lol. and as for the other guys...they took them as they were perscribed to do lol...didnt mean to make them sound like a bunch of pain pill addicts lol!

When I had mine done I was so nervous they gave me the gas before doing the IV. When the doctor walked in he said "did you bring your veins". I thought that was the best damn joke I'v ever heard. Sh!t he was funny. AK you should be done by now how are ya?

Good luck with em, i was lucky they never grew in( i hope they never do). heard some people think it wasn't bad then do an activity after and they all regret it. I guess take what you need of the vicodin and try to get more then save it for when you feel better....

Decided to get mine pulled when I was in the Army while it was free to avoid complications in the future. Mine hadn't yet come through the gums and I had to have the gums cut open and then drill crack and pull. I thought the dentist was standing on my lower jaw to keep it open. Best part is for a few months after that whenever my pulse would go up while doing physical training or shagging, it felt like all my teeth were going to pop like popcorn. Have fun.

Well, of course they were cut and then pulled out.


Ok, so i remember everything that happened friday morning prier to the surgery..the last thing i remember is sitting in the chair with an oxygen hose in my nose and the doctor putting the needle in my arm and saying "ok, you will feel a little light headed and we will see you on the other side.." then i remember being woken up by the lady and my mom and i remember trying to walk out on my own... i remember bits and pieces of walking down the hall way using the wall as i guide and batting my moms away... lol. i remember getting in my moms truck and getting out of the truck and staggering up the stairs at home, then sitting down in the chair and falling asleep. I ralph't once then went back to sleep. then i didnt fully come out of it until about 1-130ish. ....yup.

Ya, i would talk to your dentist to find out who to go to for **** surgery, thats what i did and i really liked the doctor. He also owns our arena football team.
