Yup, all 4 of 'em gotta go tomorrow (friday) :(

...not really looking forward to it...

I'll be pretty out of it for a couple days.. so dont have to much fun here ok!:)

later!

I had mine pulled a couple months ago, it was'nt near as bad as you might think, and I had 5 wisdom teeth, lucky me with an extra!!!!

You poor s.o.b....I had mine pulled out about a 1 1/2 ago. They dry socketed and I was one sick, miserable, grumpy person. The pain was unbearable and I am allergic to prescription painkillers.....so advil became my best friend. Hopefully it goes well for you, if not I don't envy you one bit.

i had mine pulled bout a year and a half ago also and it wasnt to bad until the dry socket got to me. i hope you dont have to go through that like me because that was pain, especially when they had to push some gauze in the socket itself...ouch

anyway good luck to ya

OUCH! I've never had it done. I HATE dentists, and refuse to go to one. I know i'll pay dearly later in life, but i'm too scared...

Good luck, bro! You're MUCH braver than I am.

Another dry socket sufferer here. Worst pain I've ever felt. It was nearly 3 weeks before I was back to normal. I was eating prescription pain killers like pez.

The gauze made all the difference in the world, although you smell like an old man's medicine cabinet for about a month afterwards.

If I could go back in time, I would have never got it done.

Same thing, had 4 pulled all at the same time, 2 were impacted. Then dry socket, ouch. Was down for 3 days, decided enough was enough, went to work. Big mistake, was home for another 2 days. What a mess! Hope it goes good for you?

lol enjoy the vicodin(spelling?)! 3 of my friends had alot of fun when they got theirs out...until they ra outa pills lol. good luck to ya!

wow, some interesting stories here guys. :o

hopefully, itll be quick and easy... Ill let ya know how it went when i get back to normal..:)

thanks for the support... Apple Juice -------> :beer;

Its not too bad. Never got dry socket, thank god. You'll look like a squirel packing acorns for a while. Its better than getting your tonsils takin out. Hope you get knocked out, that helps ALOT.

I had no visible swelling at all. Getting knocked out was awesome. When you wake up, it's like you've drank a case of beer.

Picture Frank the Tank from Old School at the kids birthday party when he falls into the pool.

Yeah, it's like that. LOL

I had 2 of mine cut out about 2 years ago. When the nurse was giving me the injection of sleeping juice I heard her say "oops". The Dr. looked at her and quietly said "we don't say that". Luckily before I got to 50 I was asleep and when I woke up it was amazing, almost like I drank 50 beers. I got up and walked to the closet, where I found a stool and sat down where I proceeded to bite and pull on my tongue because I couldn't feel it. Wife was taking care of the paper work and the kids were sitting there laughing at me. So then, we decide to go to Menards, big mistake...... do your shopping prior.

#1 do NOT go to a dentist, go to a qualified Surgeon to have them Cut out, not pulled. My 4 came out in a total of 4-5 minutes without having to be put out. Day 2 or 3 afterwards I was all healed up! My bro went to a dentist to have this sheet done and ended up having a broken jaw when it was all over along with a $80,000 lawsuit for malpractice....

I had 2 removed by a **** surgeon....had the usual pain, swelling, painkillers etc.... A couple years later I had 2 removed by some wierd Dr from India on the recomendation of my Dentist. He used some different technique and when I woke up I had virtually zero pain, I wouldn't have known I had anything done the next day besides the open holes that hadn't healed yet.....don't have any idea what he did, but never did have any pain or swelling. Unfortunatly I didn't get any painkillers :(

cajun, they gave me percadans(sp) and I only used them for the 1st 24 hrs is all, though I don't do pills other then when I absolutly NEED them.

WTF won't this forum let us spell "****-surgeon" LMAO!!!

it should go fine jsled just so they have experience with the practice day in and day out, perferably Highly Qualified! It would be a common precedure I would think. Good Luck!!!:)
