Gallagher snow report

Anyone make it up to Gallagher yesterday or perhaps today? Can you ride off the road without fear of running into rock bombs up there yet? Are the creek crossings covered yet?

there is really not enough snow to make the creeks and issue yet!!! the few that where open where not a problem, most had froze over, could change if it gets a lot of traffic!!!

Rode Gallagher today and wow they have got some snow lately. Only saw a two other guys up there all day and it was DEEP. Some lack of base in most areas but plenty of snow to cover most everything up. There was probably 2 feet of fresh and maybe 6-8 feet overall. We did not make it into the top bowls yet, no need even trying when everything else was deep and untouched. It would have taken a while to get up there. It did not look like it had rained up there at all.

The 4x4 trail was accessible but the trail through the trees did not look like it had been used yet but we tried it anyway. Was bottomless and a pain so we turned around and headed up the other way. Next weekend up there should be really good if it keeps snowing.

Might be a reason for this--You being almost the only one up there--Avy danger is High to Extreme!! You are in the avy capitial up there.
