coming years ago. Too many people in Utah don't and won't get involved. It is going to get way WORSE. Thank you, yourself and your friends that take everything for granite and do nothing. I'm 50, no kids...it will not effect MY future generation. But it will effect YOURS, at least those of you that have children. So enjoy it why we still have it...
If you actually read through this thread, it would seem that people ARE getting involved. Emails are being sent, contact info has been posted, plow truck drivers have been talked to, hell, someone even blocked off the road. The buzz about this issue has started, and will hopefully snowball into something that will raise an eyebrow.
Me, myself, and my friends don't take anything for granite (little lone EVERYTHING), as well as a major majority of fellow sledders. That being said, their are a few that take things for granite, but very few, and they stand alone. If you've seen this coming through out the years, what have you done, to get the word out, and spread awareness? Or are you exempt, because you have no kids?
I think that people get involved in different ways. Some directly, some indirectly. Some people don't feel comfortable sending emails, and making phone calls, and that's fine. I feel that people showing up at the trailhead every weekend, wanting to ride, speaks volumes.
