That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure, thanks! This is for visualizing how much travel you're utilizing. It's a visual indicator of the travel used. Can also be used for sag setting purposes.

Yup for setting sag. Also don't be suprised if the fall off. I installed mine brand new out the box last June after the season so it's been sitting covered in my garage. 2 of them already fell off. Dry rot I suspect.Okay,
Random question....... I just received a full set of the Fox Burandt Edition QS3 air shocks and three of the four shocks have a rubber o-ring on the shock sleeve. I assume this is for setting up the sag measurement?
I'm completely new to air shocks and this is the first time messing with a set........I'm use to springs and knobs.....LOL
Are the weights published by Fox? I can't find this info anywhere. I planned on going with air shocks mainly for the weight savings, but if they aren't any lighter, I'll stick with coils.Air used to be lighter, but with the latest versions of lightweight design on components and springs along with Evol chambers and negative springs on the air shocks I wouldn't be surprised if weight was now a wash.
I think he might be asking about the coil vs air in regards to the fox shocks. I have been trying to find that information as well but no one seems to have it.I weighed them vs my velocities on my lightweight build. They are just under 4lbs lighter
Interesting…is this something you have witnessed yourself or is this something you’ve heard?I’m still running the burandt fox qs3 coils.
Still happy with them.
They don’t get the resi locator pin wrecked by a small stick hitting it and ruin a complete shock like the velocity shocks.
I’ve run exits and raptors in the past and these seem on par.
IMO proper suspension is the most important mod one can do. A close second is clutching.is the iqs worth it on a non boost application? I'm running a pro 850 thinking about converting to khaos fox coils or floats but curious on the iqs. or if the options to lockout on the fly really only is a big benefit in a boost?
I'm a Khoas guy. Never rode a pro actually but I imagine the results are similar. When you go from the stock shocks to the Fox Float QS3 everything is better. Buttery smooth and confidence inspiring is the best way I can describe it. Never bottom out. So good in fact, I've probably doomed myself to never be able to ride anything else. They are that good. Besides the significant improvment in ride quality and confidence inspiring handling the adjustability is amazing and simple. My talent level improved by a factor of 10 simply with the upgraded suspension. Lol!i'm kinda curious if anyone has upgraded a pro rmk to pro rmk fox floats and their input. or just go for a full khaos conversion. I'm rocking a pro and like it a lot but honestly never ridden a khaos. It would be fun to get the ski's up a bit more at times, but i deff like how well my sled floats up and out of the snow and holds lines. i wonder if qs3 pro rmk floats would make it more playful.
I remember seeing in a video him saying the floats were lighter. deff curious on which package overall is lighter. I would think the floats.I think the coils are lighter by half a pound. I remember Burandt saying that in a video but could be wrong.
