Forum Expert 9R review

A comparison video won’t show what the 9r shines at imo. The light feel and quick revving is more a seat of the pants thing. Don’t get me wrong it has great power, but that’s not why I paid $21k for it.
One thing I noticed that I haven’t seen anyone mention is how fast it hits peak rpm. It wicks to peak so fast and easy. I feel like it gets there at 3/4 throttle too.
Oh, and the brake recall has been a non issue for me on it.

Turboless. I'm riding with Caleb on Saturday and Sunday in Seeley. Why don't you come meet us and show me how it's done. I'm sure I can talk Caleb into making a spot for you.
can't wait to watch Caleb's story of your riding, and then hear about how great of a rider you are from him. My guess is you will be humbled pretty quick by Seeley terrain. Not as tight as Buena Vista but still some of the best in Montana.

Caleb won't do that. He is there to to teach, show what is possible on a sled and to make it fun. People that are really, really good let their riding do the talking. They don't have to say a word. People that aren't as good or missing something do more talking to make up for what they are short on.

There are always exceptions to the rules ?

If you read my post that started this thread I said it grabs RPMs amazingly fast. 2200 to 8400 in a second ?

Deep snow this year. Been on 5 rides with a 9r 165 pro and a 22 boost 155 Khaos. I'll take boost every day so far. We ride 9-10,000 feet. 9R is a great sled and great throttle response, but I'll take boost for the way I ride.
Well at your elevation you probably need boost

Seeley terrain really isn't that wild. I'm guessing Chadly will be the one teaching the clinic by the end of the day.

There are pockets of nasty places in Seeley but they take some finding. If Chadly really wants to be challenged he needs to head north.
