For those who are snowchecking are you going with the 4 year warranty or the 2 year warranty and 600 in Polaris Gear?

If you are choosing the 2 year with the $600 what accessories are you getting?

I go 2 year cause thats the longest I ever keep these overgrown chainsaws, I have all the gear I want so my dealer usually takes 300-400 ish of the final price off the sled and he keeps the PGA.

4 year.. usually keep my stuff for 3 years the final year of warranty will help with resale. the 2 year and 600 in gear is nice but i already have all the gear I want/need

I can tell you that the extra warranty on my last two sleds really helped me sell them. I had one year left on my D7 and D8 and both guys who bought them wanted that security. Just throwing out the value of the warranty when it comes time to sell.

Going with the 4 yr warranty, no plans on mods so why not have this thing worry free for a while. Ill be going all black with the aluminum bumper and black skid plate. I wish you could see the sled with the red skis on it on the website. What colors you guys and gals going with?

I think I decided to go with the 4 year warranty. I was considering using the $600 to add electric start but then I also have to pay for install and plus its only a $400 option if the factory installs it. So i'm not saving anything by having the dealer install it. And if I go with the 4 year warranty it might Force me to keep this sled for 3 years. So far the longest I've kept a sled is 1 3/4 of a season.


I'm getting the orange one. Then I'm gonna get a decal made for the tunnel to help with snow buildup and its gonna be half black/ half white at an angle to match the side panels, seat and track length decal.

Also the rear bumper frame is going to be powdercoated black along with the rails, and the spindles white. Or else if I decide to put my white sly dog skis on again I will probably go with black spindles.

Personally I think the 4 year warranty would be a better bet especially if you really don't need anything for extras. Plus if you happen to sell after two or three years, that extra warranty may be a big plus to the next buyer???

What colors you guys and gals going with?

I have it narrowed down to some sort of rmk im leaning toward (in order) retro, all black or the white and red (pro 600) style sides

I just snow checked 800 RMK 155 Retro with electric shart and 4yr warranty. Warranty is good for piece of mind and resale. Now i have to start saving my pennies, so i can get my new toy.

Keep in mind....2 year option gives you 1st year bumper to bumper coverage with 2nd year coverage of drive train only. 4 year option is bumper to bumper for four years and is transferable.

Going to go with a 163 pro black with the 4 year. Any of you guys get any prices from your dealers yet. Just wonderin what some dealers are quoting, havn't checked with mine yet.

Remember there is a 3000 mile limit on the Polaris warranty.

Yamaha had the same deal back in the SRX crank breaky days - 4 years in the States and 3 yrs in Canadia. Must be some inane law somewhere.

Snowchecking an orange 155 going with 4 year warranty.

163 orange with 4 year warranty for me. I will add tether, 2cool vents and vinyl on the sides of the tunnel and I'm done.
