for those that did the fastraxx motor plate.

you get bord alot huh ?

Rob, i don't know if you'r "polished stocker" will be able to keep up with my Slightly modded N/A Buggy.

We will have to catch up sometime this year.

All of the Pros I've ridden or observed (stock or mod) do really "shake the ski tips" at low and idle rpms--as mentioned above, that harmonic disappears above clutch engagement. We've found that its pretty tough to isolate that shake. Our engine mounting system uses extra oem mounts in the oem configuration-this allows the mounts to perform the isolation job as intended by the factory but still control horizontal twist and vertical dive of the engine better...and just as importantly, alleviate crank case stresses. The chassis will feel more "solid" than stock after the engine plate install but the increase in vibration felt by the rider is minimal at best.
Since the mounts are all oriented vertically in this chassis (as opposed to relatively horizontal in the older stuff) we've noticed the increase in vibration transferred to the chassis is significantly less (after engine plate installation)---

Make sense?

thanks curt for the reply. i really am noticing it when the sled is idling up or down and i was just wondering what it was.

curt, first, great looking product. but i don't seem to be smart enough to see where the two new mounting points are? i see the one in the back but can't see the second one. i'm only counting 5 mounting points. did you add one to the pto side? making three rather than the stock two? thanks. feel free to slap me if i'm missing something obvious... :)

Yep-you got it! there is also a "push stop" under the mag front corner that you cant see--it contacts the bottom of the bulkhead floor to keep the mag front corner of the plate from diving down when you nail the throttle-IMO, that violent movement was a big part of the infamous "broken mag engine bolt" that many experienced early on(along with the other design issues that we have all beaten to death).

Mark, I wish we could eliminate that buzz...these are definitely not silky smoth engines!

well i did as others mentioned and i ride several pros today and they all vibrated as bad or worse then mine did. so it has nothing to do with the motor plate. just the vibration of the motor i guess.

yup. it was fun but they like everywhere needs more snow. we have a poker run this weekend so i think that im going to try to make it up to cams and ride up there on sunday.

Curt, an electric motor kit complete with batteries might be in order.
