I don't care about gay marriage, I don't care about weed, I don't care about abortion(late term abortion is truly murder but we kill adults all the time anyway) or anyones personal choices that don't really effect me. Smoke dope, have sex with your goat, marry your sister who really cares? The Republican party needs to get off all these loser issues for good. Economy and Jobs and FREEDOM. YES Henry Ford was working on a vehicle that was hemp based. supposed to b stronger than steal and way lighter. you tube has some short footage from 1941 of a guy hitting the car with a hammer . just look up the uses of industrial hemp and u will find out that there's more to it than this medical side. but what do i know i am just a simpleton in a world of complexity.

Do you really think Romney had your best interests at heart? The man made hundreds of millions of dollars using leveraged buyouts to export good paying American jobs to Asia. His policies would have benefited the elite. Is Reagan your political hero? Taxes and the deficit went higher than any president before him and that's a fact that can't be disputed.
Are you convinced the Obama has your best interests at heart? The man has implemented and supported programs that have enriched the elite and well connected with the full cost to the taxpayers. He has rewarded failure and criminal cartels. Those common slobs who saved their money and were careful are seeing their wealth disappear through aggressive money printing. This has also benefited the elite.
Get the message? The current system always benefits the elite and the connected and will never be about you.
The USA will never see any meaningful change from someone that comes up the ranks of the two existing politically elite structures. That means an entirely new party, and that will never happen in our lifetime because that would be a threat to everything the elite hold dear.

None of this really matters now that Isreal is getting attacked by missiles. Do you think that it is coincidence that this happens just days after Obama is re-elected. Hardly. Personally I don't like the stuff. Realistically it makes no difference. It is like those who don't like sledders... I don't really care as long as they leave me alone. Medically speaking, Pot has its own issues not unlike alcohol or tobacco. They are lesser in some areas and worse in others.
I have always maintained the reason Pot has not been legalized is because governments have not yet figured out how to collect taxes on it. If you can grow it in your back yard or closet, how can they tax it?
Canada is on the same fence. We recently had a couple provinces vote yes. I believe it won't be long before something changes. Is it right or wrong? I don't know.
I won't support the change but if it is voted in then the masses have spoken. I only hope that they make it so you can't smoke in the middle of the street. It's the smell of it I really hate!!! In Holland / Amsterdam it is legal but you have to go to a coffee house or whatever they call them to buy drugs and use them.
I guess gay marriage is not much different. I don't support it but I am only one vote and if they stay away from me does it really matter??? Not really.
The world is changing. I believe in some ways for the better, in others...well, my old school thoughts have a hard time being convinced!!!

I think its funny that guys who typically arn't drawn to marriage are now demanding it? If I was gay I would appreciate being single and not pressured to get married.
They can't trap you by getting pregnant. Its great situation stick together as long as the relationship is good. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Now without kids what do you think the divorce rate is going to be? Lawyers are going to make a killing. A population of double income no kids divorcing each other with two vengeful bitches in the divorce
. I also think this will impact woman's divorce rites, you can't say the woman deserves extra consideration, care and alimony in a two woman marriage. Is there going to be no bias now in heterosexual marriages? Gender is going to be out of the equation? This is going to hurt womans rites in traditional divorces.
Pot, think of all the ruined lives and misery its caused!
People fired from jobs, lost college scholarships, suspensions, arrest, jail and prison time. Border and travel issues. It used to be some hippies in Florida supplying it, now its funding and supporting beheadings in Mexico. Its caused so much harm to people and families. I won't say for sure what will or won't happen, but alcohol is a fine example. Canadian alcohol is expensive but down south of the border... can you make it and sell it cheaper????

93 million eligible voters did not vote... Obama won by going negative 84% negative attack adds turning independents off to the election... Obama got ~8mill less votes than in 2008, if all the voters that voted for McCain voted for Romney he would have won. The, "it doesn't matter" folks decided this election... Elections have consequences; hope it works out for them. We see the predominant degradation of independent quality of life for the voters of Obama. I guess it is more important to feel part of something; even if it is a sinking ship (hopefuly not worse)?
