For Sale: Everything I own

When gas is $6.50 a gallon and the fake unemployment rate(the one they use now) is 12% do you think the sheep will vote in the next Obama? Inslee is just a simpleton. At least Gregwhore was smart. She finally believed the numbers and made cuts to the state budget. Then quit when she saw what the next round of cuts would look like. I am going to make a ton of money off Obama getting re-elected and I still feel sick. The mooches have us out-numbered, anyone who wants to work is just going to have to get used to giving up half of what they make.

Gay marriage is not about the actual marriage ceremony I don't think, probably more to do with adoption and being able have children, I mean possess children(sorry for that one).
To me, it's really about normalizing abnormal behavior. If two people of the same sex fall in love with each other so be it. But calling thier relationship "normal" doesn't make it so to me.
Pot is ok now? NO, I agree!
Is that so bad? Only if you are on the R side.
I agree!

We just keep trying to make the whole field level. Sure can't leave anyone behind . . . . so what's the point?

Folks need to wake up. I don't agree with chit happens and we can't do anything about it. We could, if we would wake up.

If I were king for a day, my first declaration would be that anyone that is supported by the government HAS NO VOTE. It's a matter of conflict of interest.

never said you couldn't do anything about it. you can wipe yer feet or stand there pissed smelling it. lots of things can b done just still might not agree with it.as far as taking ones vote this is a step in the wrong direction. why is it that as soon as someone gets power they immediately want to restrict, control,or other wise impose their will on the people that don't fall in line with their personal beliefs,we don't like it as sledders. why would any one like it when they are passionate about something.maybe people are waking up, its just not on yer side of the bed.

Everyone one is in some way.. Or were you going to draw the line in the sand and say only people that use certain government services are not allowed to vote?

Snowgood listen to this as well. I didn't say those that disagreed with me shouldn't get a vote. And your right, I don't like it as a sledder. It's like all these folks on here that don't belong to a club, WSSA or attend a grooming meeting but they want to complain about the snowmobile program if your not trying to make it better, then you don't have the right to complain.
Maybe I didn't make this as simple as it sounds in my head.

If I were king for a day, my first order of business would be to enact a law stating that anyone who does not contribute "as in pay tax directly to the government" and who still draws aid from that government dispite not having a contibution "as in welfare/unemployment/foodstamps/etc" would not be allowed to vote.

Please don't go a twisting what I'm saying. I'm saying this. If you benifit from the circle, you owe your allegance to that circle.

When nearly half of the people that are going to vote in an election that has direct input on the benifits that they receive, there is NO WAY it will be a fair outcome.

It would be like wolves and sheep voting on what's for dinner . . . .

I have been employed and payng taxes for 37 years. I have been very fortunate in that I have never needed foodstamps or unemployment or other government aid that is meant to make up for a lack of income from my work.
My Wife and I work VERY HARD and still are careful. My truck is 6 yrs old. Her daily driver is 8 yrs old. We don't have tv service, we don't go on cruises or live beyond our means in other ways.
We make payments to ourselves and then pay cash for a car/toy. We NEVER borrow money to pay for a toy.
We owe zero to anyone for anything.
Further, we worked long and hard at two distinguished military carreers (combined service of 43.5 years) and now stand to see both our retirements and medical benifits gutted.
I love this country and I give back to it, my state, and my community every single day.
Twist my words all you want, at the end of the day;

"I believe that everyone should contribute. If you don't, then you don't get to make choices on where our country is heading until you do contribute."

FLame all you want. But flame based on what I DID say, not what you heard based on your own personal bias.

View from up north.

US is getting more and more divided. R vs D, the southeast and midwest against the east and west coasts, have vs havenots, etc. Some of the same issues as in Canada but more extreme imo. A lot of passion down there but unfortunately that comes with a lot of rhetoric which just fuels the fire.

Yeah, you need men and women to procreate but it isnt that far off where you wont - what then? I guess you could say we dont need marriage then, let alone gay marriage. Can you imagine when the time comes when that cute young chick doesnt need you anymore to have kids?

Pot? Have a smoke and a few drinks and whats the difference? Nothing except that millions arent dead or in prison for having a drink, I guess.

What the hell is freedom worth when half the population thinks it only applies to them? Freedom to do what I say? Thats a lot closer to how China is run as far as I know.

Put your energy towards respect for each other and your differences.

The latest bumper sticker:

"My kid is an honor student
and my President is an Idiot"

or

"Voting Democrate is like running in the Special Olympics, even if you win you're still a retard" (No offense to those with special needs, some of my favorite people)

**** me that was well written.

I don't get it?

I think its funny that guys who typically arn't drawn to marriage are now demanding it? If I was gay I would appreciate being single and not pressured to get married.
They can't trap you by getting pregnant :face-icon-small-blu . Its great situation stick together as long as the relationship is good. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Now without kids what do you think the divorce rate is going to be? Lawyers are going to make a killing. A population of double income no kids divorcing each other with two vengeful bitches in the divorce :face-icon-small-sho. I also think this will impact woman's divorce rites, you can't say the woman deserves extra consideration, care and alimony in a two woman marriage. Is there going to be no bias now in heterosexual marriages? Gender is going to be out of the equation? This is going to hurt womans rites in traditional divorces.

Pot, think of all the ruined lives and misery its caused!
People fired from jobs, lost college scholarships, suspensions, arrest, jail and prison time. Border and travel issues. It used to be some hippies in Florida supplying it, now its funding and supporting beheadings in Mexico. Its caused so much harm to people and families. I am glad to see its heading towards de criminalization, its just a plant, or should I say weed.

Reminds me of that song 'Underwear Outside the Pants'. Cant smoke a weed that grows in the dirt but we're advertising viagra so that 80 year old guys can get hard ons. Lol. What a screwed up world. Ok to glorify violence too but cant smoke something that mellows someone out. I dont get it.

bagger thank-you and you're wife for you're service. The country is indebted to you. i agree with you're fiscal responsibility.it is sound advice and everyone should head you're advice. as far as regulating who gets to vote and doesn't is a slippery slope in which to go down. i do not want to see more restrictions on anything, i want less laws, less restrictions. less government period.i two have not used government assistance of any kind. despite some very rough winters w no work. (carpenter working for myself) but i look back on all the difficult times i had and they were rewarding because i was tested in both my character and fortitude to keep pushing on. this education is what is missing in this world that life is not perfect there will b ups and downs, difficulties and hardships. this is what used to separate America from the rest of the world is take it in the jaw, lift-yer chin up and keep going.leading by example in the behaviors that show compassion to all and good ethics. i love this country and am so proud that the people in this nation can change things by due process without any government crackdown or funny business. in the face of the us federal government the citizens of a few states decided to change things that were not necessarily agreed upon. whether i agree with the changes or not im still glad we live in a country that gives us the option. im done sorry i fn love America it aint perfect but it is still the best baby snow is really good

WTF?! Same sex marriage is good for the human race?! Are you kidding me? If men and women did not procreate there would be no human race.

As far as the legalization of pot goes, they better pass it by the feds and tax the hell out of it. The money has to come from somewhere to pay for all these damn welfare recipients!!

As far as pot being good for the human race......I don't get that. :face-icon-small-sad

Yes... same sex marriage is GREAT for the human race... we've got too many MORONS running around spewing lefty or righty BS right now, at least THEY can't procreate!

We need less people on this damn ball of dirt as it is (and I don't say that from some enviro freak standpoint, I say that from a "we should nuke any city over 100k" standpoint :D)... far as I'm concerned, the more gay marriages there are, the less new fools there are on this earth.

Righties talk all sorts of BS about "freeedum" but they only mean for them, and lefties talk all sorts of BS about "liberties"... but they only mean for their types of issues... both sides are full of SH** & I'm sick of it.

Sell all your SH**, give up, and go live in a cave. I'll take it for $5, and keep succeeding with whoever the fool is that claims to be the president is in office.

What a bunch of whiny liberals.

This guy in office is a ,whole new ball game! Hours after he got voted back in he told his people to help pass the U N gun law hmm .Way they are printing the money we should soon be paying ,what he wanted us to be for a gallon over 6 bucks ah change we can believe in .

Don't like gay marriage?...don't marry a gay! Don't like marijuana?...don't use it!

still does not make it right A hole, some people are so weak in their thoughts and beliefs any more.. Im sure your mother would be proud of you ?

The only thing that I would worry about(and I don't worry) is inflation. Running a trillion dollar deficit for 4 years with no end in sight will at some point hurt the dollar. If we hit even 10% inflation we can't pay the national debt and the dollars sh1ts the bed. Cost of everything will skyrocket and wages will not follow. Retirement accounts that our seniors(some) have saved for 30-40-50 years will become worthless. We would be back to an economy where it's just food and shelter. If we get super inflation we are waiting on the government to feed us. Look at Hurricane Katrina or Sandy to see how that is going to work out. If we would have just let the misery hit us in 2008 we would probably be coming back fast economically right now. None of the politicians, Republican or Democrat want the music to stop on their watch. Neither side has the guts to just cut spending to 2007 levels. No one was starving, the poor still had TVs, cell phones, cars and no one appreciates it food and shelter. Our poor are fat and entertained very well.

I GUARANTEE if we look at your life, we can find HUNDREDS of things that "aren't right", but they let people "like you" get married all the time.:face-icon-small-sho

Funny how the people that are anti gay marriage talk about what's right according to the bible, but clearly can't be bothered to look at anything that Jesus taught. His whole LIFE was about shutting people like you up.:yo:

KNOCK IT OFF Snodawg...WE are ALL stronger than this! You rode the last 4 years did'nt you? You rode when Clinton was in did'nt you? I don't want anyone to give up. Had the Dems' lost it woulda been like water off a ducks back. We need to work even harder. Don't like gay marriage?...don't marry a gay! Don't like marijuana?...don't use it! You know right from wrong, lead by example. Keep those sleds and keep exercising your rights, if you give up...THEY WIN.

HAHA have you ever read the bible, not sure which one you read? But pretty sure it states that its wrong, and would you even be here with out women, but a not so wise person like yourself, im sure has it all figured out.. :yo:

Can someone explain to me why people who smoke and buy weed now would want to buy it legally from a store where they will have huge taxes on it? If you can have a certain amount on you will you have to prove where you bought it? Otherwise how do you stop a black market with no taxes on a product that is now legal?

Illegal weed will be sold for less than the stores with no taxes, the people can possess it legally so how does this solve anything for the state?

Yes you, the one ranting & judging, calling people A holes... you've got it all figured out. That's what Jesus said to do right? I'm SURE it was something like that...:face-icon-small-con

Go read the new testament, perhaps read a little bit of Luke... how he expected people to act & treat others is VERY clear, and is all over the place.

Only someone who is busy trying to find reasons to hate others could POSSIBLY miss it.

I'd think SOME of those people want to or would prefer to be legal, and are willing to deal with a store to do so.

Right now, people go through the hassle of going to a doctor, and getting a card, and going to a dispensary to get it, I'd think that's about the same thing.

Some folks will grow themselves, some folks will buy from joe blow that they've known forever, but I'd think a decent portion will get it from a store.

Same could be said for alcohol... you can still buy moonshine, and I actually know people that make it, that make wine and beer... but most folks just go to the store because it's easier. Not a darn clue what kind of proportion that will be, but I'd bet a decent amount.
