Flat Black Hood?

Rich is right, I ended up not painting it. It was my intention, however, as I started to sand the stock black hood it was producing the results I was looking for.

Just a lot of elbow grease.

Yeah I realized that after that the stock hood was black. Still, looks great.

Ive had my tunnel line x-ed pretty much since new in 08 best added 5-10lbs ive ever spent looks good every single day and snow dosnt stick to it all and i have the rough finish. I get crap for it but iam not worried about 10lbs at the end of the day i put my sled in the shop turn up the heat and no polishing to keep it shiney

Out of curiosity, did the Line-X treatment make it run any hotter? I just figure it would hold heat in on the top side?
