Fire and ice intake attachment

I got rid of my slp and got a stock boost box with a fire and Ice. After looking at the stock intake i found it has clips to hold it into the boost box while the fire and ice has nothing but a lip. The part numbers i got for the rubber seem to all be wrong so Im going to find a stock intake to steal it off of.

Hopefully I'm missing something simple here. Thanks guys.

Finally got the correct part from polaris today! I got it on but it sure doesn't hold too well. I guess well see tomorrow. Do you take time with a small pick to make sure the rubber completely goes around the bottom flange?

what I used to do is roll the rubber gasket back up onto the airbox, place it in position and then roll it back down over the plenum starting on the engine side.... then with a little pulling on the fender I could get the last bit to roll down on the fender side. Hope this makes sense lol.

For all those that own the fire and ice, i would highly recommend covering the opening with some sort of screen, based on a little personal experience I had with mine.

Was riding one day, hit a bump and the throttle "stuck open". Was going about 30 on a wooded trail. Hit the kill switch. Restarted the sled and was still open. Dragged it back to my house. Luckily was only about 1/2 mile into my trip. When I got home realized one of the screws on the fire and ice box was missing. Did not think anything about it. Once I got the F&I box and boost box off found the screw, lodged in the throttle body hodling open the throttle. Needless to I put a screen on the opening. It his held on by 3m spray adhesive. I also decided to put a tether on the sled.

You got lucky the screw did not go through the engine.
