Finially!! One goggle lens that does it all!! Polarized baby!!!

Just think if they did polarized in a prescription lens. LOL

and and and if the sealing foam could emit endorphins which would induce the body to produce a higher amount of adrenaline.........:D

This might be a stupid question- do polarized lens also block uv rays? Just wondering :o.

Wow. Rode today for the first time in the polarized. I wore the smoke and dad wore the Brown. Holy crap, it's like watching a high def tv or a movie in 3d or something. They work awesome, highlight every single little mark in the snow. I'll never go back to the regular ones now. Thanks Tom for continuing to give us a better product:beer;:beer;:beer;

What was the light conditions you rode in today, I just got my smoke polarized in the mail today curious if it was sunny or cloudy where you were. Thanks. I should order a brown also, the sun never shines when I ride.

seeing in 3d.....damn but tom is good. I thought I would be forced to wear one blue and one red lens to get that;)

sorry sawyer I just had too.

Mine have never seemed to be right.. . I've tried several different lenses and they don't seem to insert correctly compared to other peoples 509's that I've looked at! Right around the nose pad area the lens doesn't appear to seat all the way down the frame .. it goes so far and stops no matter what I do, with several of the notches in the lens showing. ...then I have snow coming thru and into my eyes. .. any thoughts on this?? .. thanks

Johnny

My one lens does the same thing to me too... The original one they sent me with the googles. fits perfect... but the blue/blue doesnt fit right in the same place... but then i just might be putting them in wrong?

tom, can i send u a pick of mine too to see if im doing something wrong?

Pull the goggle awayfrom the lens, you will have to move the lens to the left or to the right a little and it will slip in. If you can see the nubs it is easier. I used the lens this weekend. 99% of the time they were the best lens I have tried. Here is the 1%, I seems to have condensation in my guage cluster and the polarized creates a rainbow and makes it very hard to see the RPM for tuning. Would I recommend these, heck yeah.

Interesting as 509s are actually wider than SCOTT 89

I've never used Scott, so can't speak for them. I'm specifically referring to Smith snow warp having a wider field of view. I've mentioned this before, but you should offer the option for quick straps on the goggles already. Not straps that will adapt after you buy quick straps. I think that your goggles for 09 are awesome, too bad I got the 08's. They leave a big gap on the forehead. The perfect goggle IMO, would be larger frame, quick straps, and your new brown lens.

Just put my order in for the brown polarize lens, can't wait to try them out. Anybody have any tips on how to change out lenses on the 509's.

Yes for $39.99 you get only the lens. We don't sell the goggles with these installed. All goggles come standard with a chrome/yellow lens. However during the order process, there is an option to purchase an additional polarized lens.[/QUOTE]

If I could order a set with the polarized lenses, and quick straps already installed I would. I don't think I'll will though if I end up having to buy a lense and stap that I don't want. How much more would you need to charge to sell the goggles set up like this? Looks like Skibreeze is looking for the same thing.

Sawyer, what color did you and dad like better?
Did you swap them out and try both?

Smoke or brown?

I'll admit I'm not good at putting in new lenses, but the new polarized lense looks taller than my old one...same shape and everything, just the pieces either side of the nose area are longer.

I thought I had 08's...am I wrong?

Scott, after two rides on them I'd say the brown works better in overcast skies and the smoke in bright sunny.

Great. Thanks for the quick reply.
It's not like I asked two days ago or anything.
