Finially!! One goggle lens that does it all!! Polarized baby!!!

Just ordered two pair- smoke and brown.
If I understand correctly the smoke are for more sunny days?

The great thing about polarized is both the smoke & brown will work awesome whether its foggy or bright sun. The smoke is a touch darker tint.

I was out testing both these lenses again today in some nasty heavy wet snow/fog conditions. They both worked awesome, but I have to give the edge to the brown lens when it came to highlighting definition in these foggy conditions. The smoke lens also worked awesome and I would say its the cooler looking of the two with the jet black finish. Can't go wrong with either, but again the Brown worked a bit better FYI.

yes the 39.99 is just for the lens..... my question is can i get those lens already installed with the goggle purchased

Yes for $39.99 you get only the lens. We don't sell the goggles with these installed. All goggles come standard with a chrome/yellow lens. However during the order process, there is an option to purchase an additional polarized lens.

I have 509's with the yellow chrome lense, and I am not impressed either. Definately not any better than my 30 dollar scott's, maybe worse. I like the looks, and the fit of them, but they fog like crazy. I think I want to try an orange lense too, not very impressed with the yellow.

Check your vents on the inside of the goggles on the lenses...are the cut outs still in place? Do you ride with a breath box?

Mine have never seemed to be right.. . I've tried several different lenses and they don't seem to insert correctly compared to other peoples 509's that I've looked at! Right around the nose pad area the lens doesn't appear to seat all the way down the frame .. it goes so far and stops no matter what I do, with several of the notches in the lens showing. ...then I have snow coming thru and into my eyes. .. any thoughts on this?? .. thanks

Any chance you can PM me a closeup picture of this?

I've seen this to a point but it was always about trying harder. I have never had a pair of lenses or heard of a pair of lenses that were cut incorrect. I'm not saying it's not possible BUT I've never had the situation. I have had it where is was tougher on one then another but I think there are many factors to consider.

Temp of the frame, temp of the lenses, do you have a preformed lens or one of the straight lenses.

Sit down with a beer and keep trying is my suggestion.:beer;

Send Tom the picture and I'm sure he'll take care of it.

When an oversize frame comes out I might be interested, but I have way better peripheral vision with other goggles.

Purchase other than website

Is the only way to order online or do you have dealers carrying the goggles? Would like to try them on before purchasing, since it is time to replace the 8 year old scots.

Any dealer hooked up with Western PowerSports (WPS) carries them or can carry them.
