fernie/crowsnest pass 2009/2010

Hate to say it guys, but last saturday we were in the rolling hills and put on 100K,it was about -15,but we hit the rolling hills.... not a track and it was about 2' of untouched pow and the sun even tried to poke out...but didn't.Got back to the truck at about 0500 and it was a pretty cool ride.....all in all it was an awesome day.I didn't bring camera though........We staged at the yellow gates, not a lot of snow there, but plently to get us to the good stuff. Also heard that east of the Knotch was not bad also.

Rode in over the O'hagen today and went through Gardner creek, found some fresh but nothing spectacular. Good break in ride for the new sled. If the weather keeps up south of town should be good in a couple weeks.

thinking of heading out to fernie on boxing day from calgary, is it worth the trip? or should i head to golden instead?

Have a look at Verlee's SNOW REPORT on the website. Had a great couple rides this past week. Corbin Country club has groomed the Flathead 6 times so far. We also have a single lane groomer you pull up to Barnes, flip it over on the way down to shave off the bumps. We are realy ramping up the grooming program this year, hope to get some more members.
