Is it worth the $650 price tag. I've heard they are pretty good at setting up the summit clutching.

Anyone have any experience?

Cool thanks. From the research I've done, thats pretty much what I'm finding. They said its extra to use their belt? Is it much different then the 377 belt from BRP?

It's a custom compound belt built by Gates, Great durability and performance is what I've heard from the guys I know that run his belt. But that's all I know

Thanks, now if I can only pull off springing for the belt and the clutching without the wife finding out about it:eek:

belt

Last year at Togwotee,,,, 21 sleds,, 5 days of hard riding... Not really one belt issue... Not bad for a bunch of 800's

WOW! 650 bucks? That is a lot!

Yes,,, "WOW". I think you should go buy all the after market parts you can find & bolt them on your sled,,, and see what you get.... Can, head, pipe, airbox, race gas, new tream secondary, Then make it all work together.. Good luck. :beer; :)

I think what PJ is getting at is the Rooster Built and DJ's kits are about $200 cheeper and have a very good rep on here as far as performance is concerned. Have you looked into these kits too?

It's kind of nice,,,, When at Felkers... When he is working on your sled,,, He will ask, how you ride,,, what's your weight, what altitude you ride, how much power you want,,, so many options available.. Not just a few springs & weights,,, He is very good at matching your wishes, and riding style, to your sled. So many secrets..

So for 650$ you get a can, head, pipe, airbox and team secondary...plus a tank of gas?

If that is all included in their package then it's a deal, but if they want $650 for just weights, helix, and springs........

No!!!! What you get is a sled that runs better,,,, than if you put all the aftermarket crap on it,,, without knowing what you are doing... I see it everytime I ride.. Oh..... buy your own gas...

So what exactly do you get for 650$? Is it basiclly springs, weights and ramps in some proven combination?

It sounds like everybody else's kits, except they hold your hand and make you have that feel good moment?

I think I will keep the 300$ difference and spend it on some lingerie and champagne for the wife and really get a feel good moment!

Thanks for all of the help Kod. I asked for some help so Felker wouldn't tell me to get bent because my sled came from the other guy. I need a GOOD dealer to rely on for setups or warranty work since my dealer closed the doors.

FYI, I wouldn't buy a TEAM secondary for the XP, I saw way too many actually come apart last season and that was just at RE.

And yes, I agree with Tudizzle about the $650. That is alot for some ramps, weights, a helix and springs put together with the right combination. I'm not taking away from Lynn's R&D but $650 is a tough one to swallow.

Your wife wants to see you in lingerie with a bottle of champagne?!
That's cool in a risque sort of money saving way.

;-)
