The pictures you guys are posting look great. The snotel site is throwing out some depth numbers i am having a hard time believing. how much is there really? i know some will say there is enough but im curious if those of you that rode there this last week were still bouncing off stuff...like the unfriendly rocks and stumps!! Was planning on heading that way this weekend. Curious if there is really 113" or more like 50"??

Snotel has been messed up down there for a while. I have never seen it actually over 80" on the best of years. Last year hit 70" and I think got close to 80" at the peak. So 113" is not even close to a real number. Normal year high is around 50" Looking at the cameras up there I would guess about 3-4 maybe 5 feet and maybe a little more in the tress and some select spots.

Hey chris how do you like that turbo? We rode Monday and didn't hit anything under the snow. Its not up to normal depth but it is deep enough 3-5ft. Some brush and rocks here and there. The further south you go the better the base is.

went last saturday, deep enough to get around and ride right, race bowl is still too low, conditions are very unstable and will slide:light:

I was up there yesterday afternoon after work and the snow is extremely tracked up, wind blown and just not very deep. There are pockets of decent snow, but only after a good storm like we had last week. The hills are all wind loaded and unstable.

Devin, the turbo is sweeeet!!:face-icon-small-hap. The fun factor is way up there now. Thanks for the input on Fairvew fellas.
