If you can have ALL clutching identical...but keep the can, then you might be able to pin down that can as the culprit.

THEN go back to stock can and see if that's it.


I have heard about aftermarket cans causing poorer performance.
 
I am trying to track down a rpm issue as well, my next time out will be with stock can. I have a sba 144 bikeman pipe, head 41cc domes ,pcv, got dalton adjustables dap2 130/330 spring blue/blk sec spring(rmk stk) rmk helix 58-46-36 instead of the 64-46-36. 2000ft above sea lvl

I thought i had it dialed in pretty good on the one trip we took it was -15 -20*C was over revving loaded up with 71g 8300-8400 consistent. the can showed up and i put on and went west. could not pull rpm for life of me with weights lightened up. super rich was like it wasnt compensating for altitude. pipe sensor went. back home here it still dont run the same as before so im reading up on lots of stuff on here.
going to get some mds weights for next season, sounds like they are the sh&t lol
 
What elevation are you running?If you are in Washigton that is not far from me in BC.I run my clutch totally stk at 5-7500K and consistantly pull 8150 on the upper elevations.It made no differance on mine running stk can or now the MBRP can that I now run.Shell 91 Gold non ethanol,VES Plus oil with extra in tank.I would go back to all stk then switch out the can.My guess would be broken primary otherwise

We run 6-10k ft. No ethanol
 
always run shell 91 with oil pump turned up 3 turns. normally ride 2000' above and 5-7000 in revy.
will be trying the stock can first then maybe 38cc domes as some compression would help too possibly. one thing at a time
also going to check power valves and the ports to be sure they are good.
if nothing else I'll sell the stuff and silbur turbo it lol
