Evo 215 flash

Have u guys been checking your clutches after some hard pulls? What kind of clutch temps are u seeing? My secondary is definately hotter than my primary. Mds weights

My ECU is on it's way to EVO.
I plan on getting the blankets but also would add that the optional AC Frogskin vented hood panels let a ton of heat out of the closed compartment.

I would recommend them as well.

Since there is already a gaping hole for the intercooler in the hood do you really think those frogskinz are gonna do much? My panels are already vented heavily as well. I just question how much more those are actually gonna do. Not to mention I'd have a stick through them in day one. Not criticizing just askin.

yes noticed the same thing that area is just not covered by the blankets but I'm sure Jim(EVO) is already working on a new blanket. Did you chuck the stock heatshield(I did, got in the way and pizzed me off)? Heat cycled the blankets once and yes they smoke just have to light me a stogie up and ride around with until they settle!

On My 2013 1100T
The 4 bolt collector flange ( Header to turbo) get's cherry RED !!!!!!!!
I have the blankets ( header and turbo) and ALL the EVO stuff
( am running the 215 flash)
2 gall of 100 av to 8 gal of 91...
Sure get's hot and I don't like the glowing red flange-- timing?

The blankets will smoke till they are cured from the heat- so expect that.....
Like to cover the exposed area of that flange-- any ideas?

I do think they make a difference but its only my opinion.
When I shut off the sled I can see & feel heat moving out of them.

I have the full Cat vent side panels and moving alot out from under the hood- no issues there and EVO cooler fan is helping a ton...
just noticed the header flange this weekend- and was a tad concerned of heat where it should not .. My styock heat shields are removed as the BOV would kiss them if there were there since I put on the blankets...
Mabe some header wrap from Summit racing is in order.....

Anybody with the fan trying to let motor idle when you stop so fan can push out heatsoak? Seen where somebody removed half of there batwing above clutch that seems not right to do. Maybe just leave all bolts outta of hood so when you stop you can rip her right down to the skeleton and let her cool:face-icon-small-dis. JK.
