Waiting for FS to open up public comment.

We are waiting for the FS to open up the topic for public comment. Then we can show them the petition. They have to have a time for public comment before it can be made into law, but they are being very quiet about it so we am trying to keep an eye and ear out on there web site. It is going to take time.

I'm all for helping the kite guys out. I just think that we could work together very well for future closings with either sledding or kiting.

as the greenies know theres lots of power in numbers, we need to try and do the same.

BKC, this is nothing against your or your sport BUT,
and tell me if I'm missing something....if we help the kiters gain access to wilderness areas by getting the rules amended for them, then don't we lose another partner in the fight against Wilderness? I'm guessing that if you can Kite Board or ski or whatever you guys do, within the wilderness boundary's it won't be long until you start pushing for more wilderness to kite in. I'm I wrong?
