Elko riders... get connected for the season!

I hate you people. I rode the dirtbike today, and I still have to cope with racing being done. :( OH! And It rained today! You damn Nevadans can have your $hitty weather back! ;)

Buh Bye!

dude... why arent you out sledding? snow level in star valley is 8000 feet... you will get 2-3 feet of powder out of this storm when all is said and done...
no complaining out of you!!! :p

How late does the riding last up around Elko? I am new to the area and wondering if it is worth moving my snowmobile down from North Idaho right now or if I should wait until next year.
Thanks for any information.
Jake

If you can get it there by Friday then yes, if not....its a toss-up.;)

It's still getting deeper Jay, we've had a cool spring and quite a few good storms the last couple months. We don't have the snowpack we normally do but right now we have the best coverage we've had all season.

Jay!!! We are patiently waiting so we don't track it all up... Not...

And I had about 12" at the house this morning. So, gotta think SnoTel is pretty close! Ofcourse, it has taken a break right now. I can see the other side of our parking lot.

Phatty,
I just came off the mountain from a little late afternoon ride. There is somewhere between 2' and 2.5' of fresh on the dollars. That was quite a storm. I watched the doppler and that little pocket of moisture in the middle of that low rotated on the Rubies for almost two days.:D:D:beer; I'm a little bummed that it's suppose to be 70 degrees by Sunday afternoon.

POst some pics man.... I can't believe I haven't ridden there at all this year.... tell Gary and Teeter I said hey next time you bump into them... man that is awesome you got that kinda snow now.... *jealous*

WoW! Take off to Cali to soak up some sun for 7 days:sun: and look what happens!.... y'all sound like santas elves up at the pole!:D Never saw the thermo dip under 65deg... but did manage to lay some tracks with the sled up in the Sierras (gettin thin though!) on Sonora Pass. Only took 10min to roll the pig! Thought my skills might improve if i got lower in elevation! Guess not!

Hey "Addict"... that was a nice piece ya sent in to the free press. Good job of putting this passion into words. It was a first for me... the words that usually sum it up for me include "amount due" and read something like this: $$$$$$$!:D Hope ta' see ya' all on the mountain next year! My seasons over.:(
