ECU square, triangle or circle

Whats the difference? I think at one time i was told it was that the ecu was matched to the injectors. Does anybody really know? What happens if I run a circle whem my sled had a square?

From what I remember of what I've heard, they are matched to the injectors, but it will still work. I think I heard there's ~ a 5% difference in fuel flow between all the ECUs. I don't know which is which. If you're already running a fuel control box, I'm not sure it'd be an issue. I think I learned this from Eric at Racinstation, so you may PM him and see if I'm right.
