Durapro alternatives?

Not having great success with the rubbers on the Axys with stock grippers.... local snow conditions likey don't help but so far they're not holding up any better than the IQ or BRP rubbers. A+ for fit and finish and initial quality but just not as durable as I had hoped .... they warrantied a set last season which was great but I chewed another one up today after about 6 rides ....

Looking at these considering the riding conditions and where they seem to fail is where they're recessed for the ski ribs leaving very little material in this area. Likely exasperated by the gap between the sides of the rubber and ski which likely allows the material to deflect more than if the side fitment was tight to the ski.
Would be curious to see if an extra bit if material on the forward top edge and on the sides would reduce the tendency of them to fail in this area.

I was in the same boat. Went through 3 sets of them.

I had really good luck with SLP Mohawk skis in the past. I still would squirt a rubber here and there but far less than with the grippers. Plus the saddle is steel so no egging out the bolt holes...

I am running slydogs this season and only have two rides on them, but I would guess the rubbers will also last a lot longer based on design.
