Sure glad the Kardashians had a good Christmas too! Reality TV just plain sucks but it's everyone's right to watch it,the Advertiser Bean Counters know what we want!

I don't listen to talk radio at all. Rush is an idiot. Im fact he is part of the problem. Well let me see. I was a Constitutional sheriff candidate. I organized a 2nd Amendment Rally in my hometown. I stood out in the freezing cold last week to protest the city because they made a business take down military and American flags. A couple moderators of this forum were there. I helped start a petition to stomp out Obamacare/ottercare in Idaho. Should I go on?
Maybe we aren't that far apart in ideology and you are probably a good guy, but I'm damn sick of tinfoil type comments.
...and yes Americans are distracted with entertainment of all types while more and more freedoms are stripped.

I've always spoken things how I see it. I've always been unorthodox and people either hate me or love me. I know what category you fall in and I'm A ok with it bubs. Get in line.
Yup I get angry about the current state of our country, to include local and federal governments. It's unfortunate more people don't get angry.
One more thing. I would be the kind of sheriff that would stand up to the federal government if they came trying to confiscate guns from citizens in my county, unlike some passive bureaucrat.

I believe there is a time and more importantly, a place to be as vocal and charismatic as you are. There is no reason to be constantly butting heads. I think most the guys on here agree with how you think, i do for the most part. But if you want to try and win over the people that don't see eye to eye with you. Ya gotta tone it down a bit bro. I see a post from you with a lot of this $@$&!?&@$@! In it. Hell, I don't even read it. I do read your "toned down" posts and have to say i agree with you most the time.

Amazing when people stop, talk and listen.
I work with a group that has people from Lebanon, India, Pakistan, England, US, Canada, Phillipines, Germany, Holland, Singapore, Tunisia and a few other countries I can't remember off hand. And I grew up in a white, European farming community. Really interesting listening to their lives, their dreams and their ambitions - the more I know people the more I see that there are more similarities than differences. Unfortunately it's too easy to dwell on the differences - we're sort of trained that way from being a small kid.
Anyways, I'd really like to hear what you guys have say and what you see in regards to eroding liberties and freedom. Have to admit I think when people start talking about that stuff I start thinking about tin foil hats too.
What gives? Why would your town be demanding to have the stars and stripes taken down for instance. What's behind that. In Canada it seems that we're getting more divided along political lines too and the whole Quebec separation thing has gone on since forever. They won't allow english on signs for instance unless it meets their criteria - frankly, I roll my eyes at them and feel sorry........

It's high time you make those French Flakes learn the proper language for the country that they are residing in.
Been to Quebec & it's like a damned foreign country......well, I guess it actually IS a foreign country, but it's like it's foreign to the rest of Canada also.

Sounds like Quebec is the California of Canada. California is the US's foreign country, they are not only screwed up, they screw up the rest of the US with their idiocy...ever try to pour a gas can lately?

It's called Transfer Payments.
It was inventd back bout 40 years ago because Canada used to always have French Prime Ministers from the Liberal Party, and now we can't get rid of the payments. Or, since Western Canada does all the paying, this will continue until we can't pay anymore.
