What's really scary is how in any country people can get so polarized over such bs, whether it's a stupid show, bullets, or whatever. Thousands of people are killed in wars and by famine every day and then to sit there and worry about this shiit is just amazing. People die in one part of the world for the sake of so called freedom for others on the other side.
No wonder the rest of the world thinks the US is a zoo. Go write your letters of concern to some family in the Mideast who's child just got their head blown off. No wonder both the Democratic and Republicans can't stand each other. Bin Laden must be laughing in his grave watching a country bicker itself into the ground.
So when you moving to the middle east to help contribute to the betterment of all mankind?
I like your reply - indicative of the logic used in this thread - I guess if I feel sorry for someone who gets into a car accident, through no fault of their own, I now want to become them and get into an accident too? Good one.
Funny thing is that your reply reinforces the point I was trying to make - one side says 'black' and the other side yells 'white' and goes from there. Doesn't have to make sense as long as those who side with you get fired up like a bunch of drunk football fans. And I didn't post to jump on the bandwagon with a lot of the other comments - but I'd be a fool to think that I would get any critical thinking in reply.
The interesting thing is that a lot of what this Phil Robertson guy - if I can believe the quotes put in this thread - actually makes sense. Too bad the general population doesn't follow through with what he says. Back to you.
btw- 'oh yeah' and 'wanna go outside and settle this?' aren't considered as answers. Obama jokes and poking at political parties are also a little stale. I'd like to see an answer to a question like 'why was a war started under the premise of WMD's that was false, and why isn't there any accountability for that, while the population wails loudly about lead being used in bullets?' Talk about screwed priorities.
