I think that people are way blowing this thing out of proportion, He just stated his beliefs and that should be that! Each and everyone of us should have that right.

actually 100 percent not true,fire a person with no reason that has a good lawyer & come back & tell us how it worked out for yah.
dont see what all the fuse is about he didnt bash anybody he simply stated his beliefs.
actually sir~ you are wrong~ in an "at will employment state"~ which many are~ an employer can basically fire at will~ it has been to court here and that has been determined by a judge!

seen it happen many times & employee won restitution for being let go for no reason ,most people dont want there job back. i know i have seen a few of these cases won in the US too, but did not no allot of state can let people go just because they feel like.make me glad to work for a union some days,of coarse some times its like dealing with the government too

Jesus spreads the Gospel to sinners, not really "His crowd" but when it comes to bringing people to the Lord you gotta go where those that need to hear God's message are at.
My wife and I enjoy watching the show with our oldest son, who is 7, because of their beliefs and their willingness to show their commitment to family, loving one another, and professing their faith in God.
I used to watch "Axmen" on the History Channel after they featured a fellow from our area who is a customer of mine at my place of work. But I stopped watching because of last season and all the cussing, fighting, and disrespect for safety the show was displaying. Duck Dynasty is a welcome change from the rampant shows that glorify horror, violence, death and the occult on TV these days.
Phil stated his belief which is based from teachings of the bible. He also stated that just because someone doesn't believe like he does doesnt mean he would treat them differently. They are are Gods children and should be treated with respect.
Now some outspoken leaders LGB community are upset? Haven't they been the ones preaching for years to treat everyone with respect no matter their beliefs? They don't want to be accepted they want others to believe the way they do and aren't willing to accept anyone who doesn't.
A&E needs Duck Dynasty far worse than the Duck Commander needs Duck Dynasty. A&E has and can do what ever they want but I will bet they regret it.
What's this country coming to when a person stands up for good Christian beliefs and clearly states he will still treat other with love and respect and it becomes this big of a deal. Isn't that the exact principle our country was founded on.

I completely agree. I won't watch the show again or A and E.
Unfortunately it is their business and they can do what they wish. I will do as I wish as well and never watch their programming again.
