I think that people are way blowing this thing out of proportion, He just stated his beliefs and that should be that! Each and everyone of us should have that right.

actually 100 percent not true, fire a person with no reason that has a good lawyer & come back & tell us how it worked out for yah.
dont see what all the fuse is about he didnt bash anybody he simply stated his beliefs.
actually sir~ you are wrong~ in an "at will employment state"~ which many are~ an employer can basically fire at will~ it has been to court here and that has been determined by a judge!
With all the Duck Dynasty stuff in the stores everywhere you look, seems like a poor business move by A&E to do what they did. I would think that making a statement that his views where not the views of the network would have covered their butts and kept the cash flowing from the show at the same time. The one thing I don't understand is why he gave an interview to GQ magazine in the first place. Not really his crowd of people.
Jesus spreads the Gospel to sinners, not really "His crowd" but when it comes to bringing people to the Lord you gotta go where those that need to hear God's message are at.
My wife and I enjoy watching the show with our oldest son, who is 7, because of their beliefs and their willingness to show their commitment to family, loving one another, and professing their faith in God.
I used to watch "Axmen" on the History Channel after they featured a fellow from our area who is a customer of mine at my place of work. But I stopped watching because of last season and all the cussing, fighting, and disrespect for safety the show was displaying. Duck Dynasty is a welcome change from the rampant shows that glorify horror, violence, death and the occult on TV these days.

Didn't he really just state his preference? Not like he's advocating oppression or anything to put them down.
Since when is it OK for some group to shove stuff down our throats, but another group states a preference and his TV network pulls the plug on him?
How different is this than Jimmy the Greek's comments back in the 80s?
Uh oh here comes the name calling again from big cheif
