Driver/Track Question

If I install drivers from Avid in my pitch of choice, I can have my pick of 15" wide tracks that are in the 155-ish range for my Assault, correct? As well as being able to run the track a bit looser and not ratchet?

Also, how do you know how many teeth you need?

Even with Avids, you still want to run your track good and snug or you will lose tracks speed. A loose track does not = more speed!

I understand. I think the tighter track might be harder on hyfax, but hard to say. Would the Avids allow me to run different tracks...like a Challenger Lite 154"?

You can get a chalenger lite in a 2.86 pitch.No need to change drivers.Just remove the stock center driver.For newengland riding the ski-doo and artic cat tracks seem to proform better. I'm running a powerclaw153 on avid 8 tooth 3.0 pitch drivers and it works awesome.
