I love to get so drunk I can't feel my face every single time I ride! Every time we stop I drink at least a fifth of something! Sometimes we get so drunk we have to duct tape our hands to the bars. If we run out of booze I sometimes drink the aftershave at the cabin. We even tried to drink kerosene one time.

LMFAO. That explains Idaho 2008. The chit show in the Jungle. HAHA.

I'm with sunridge, if I run out of beer I like to take the cap off my gas tank and take a couple deep breaths...helps keep the buzz going.

You guys ever suck the tail pipe?

LMAO....I thought only peeps in the 51st state do that in their igloos when it's cold.

When i first started riding i used to drink a little too much.Found out that was a pretty expensive and stupid idea. There wasnt a hill I couldnt climb when i was all buzzed out.(I thought)I ride sober any more I have 10 times more fun and have a hell of alot more money in my pocket. And my sled probably tanks me for it also.Beer is at the truck for after the ride!:beer;:beer;:)

other than just one to ease the pains a little bit, more than that is too much!

Save the drinking for when you back at the cabin!

What is the octane rating of Everclear anyway? I think it is about 190 proof and it is used by Backpackers to fuel their stoves. Perhaps we have something here.

If I want to drink and ride I'll do that from my house, where I can hit a bar or three, then I can get a cab home if I stay to long. If I have spent 8+ hours driving to a riding area, I have no desire to have a few beers while riding. I made the trip for a purpose and I want to enjoy it.
I have ridden with others that we spent 6-8 hours to drive to the U.P. and all they wanted to do was ride from bar to bar. Personally I see no fun in that. I came to ride so I want to ride.
Add to it the chance or finding a LEO, was stupid once. Thats all it takes.

Its dangerous enough, I dont need to add to my odds or the odds of my group. In the deep and steep its a team sport.

I dont need alcohol to enjoy sledding

Becides look at the possibillity for......................

Hey guys,
I have noticed that the only guys I see drinking are the ones who arn't very good riders. riding is the high that I am looking for.

If your drinking on the mountain you won't ride with our group, as everybody should know there are situations come up where you need to depend on your riding buddy's and if they are only half there , they are a liability to the group. If you have to get your "balls" from a can something is not right?

Only time we drank was when heading out on a -20 degree day. Got a few miles from town and said "screw this". Stopped at a bar and drank for a while and then went back to town and drank some more. Otherwise, riding is a big enough rush for me. We usually only drink at night when the riding is done.

i watched some drunk idiot thinking he was cool try to climb one of the play hills on a poker run and he ended up rollin his 97 600 triple about 15 times down the thing...right after a 13 year old kid took the same line he did and had no problems...pretty pathetic!!

The kid "poached" the drunk's line - wtf...?
:D
