I have found, through years of riding that most of the people in the hills carry about a 6 pack each and quite a few carry whiskey or Schnapps.
If you go up to them and strike up a conversation with them and especially if you compliment their riding or their sled they will always offer you a beer or a shot.
Hell, sometimes they'll even offer you a hit off their bong or a heaping spoon of coke.
I can get completely obliterated and never have to carry in the bottles or carry out the empties.
Sometimes I get so wasted that I can't start my sled or keep my helmet on without filling it with the breakfast burrito I had a few hours earlier.
That's when the ol' snort of coke comes in handy to get my head straight.





Yeah...I never carry booze with me when I go sledding.
That's just stupid.

Personally I prefer to reserve my drinking heavily to celebrate new snow. Whenever a storm comes in, I celebrate by getting utterly blasted the prior nite...Sure it makes riding the next day a challenge, but that's what beer, redbull, and open faced helmets are is for. That is if I'm lucky enough to make it out the next day. TO POWDER, MAY I ONE DAY GET TO RIDE IT IN!!
