Dont Deal With Beedoo

This guy sold me an 04 Renegade 800 X that was suppose to have a completely remanufactured engine with a little over 800 miles on it.
The sled started and ran in his garage, and I am surprised it did considering the internal damage.
I have already posted on Dootalk about my experience with Steve with a detailed explanation.
Steve refuses to make any kind of compensation for selling me this boat anchor.

That motor is F'ed!:eek: But I have seen some blow up with less miles than that. Even though it's a reman does'nt mean the guy who put it together did it right. Warranty? good luck:beer;

A few more pics

Warranty....not likely since I got 3 different answers as to where the engine came from so who knows.
Theres no way in he11 the owner didnt know something was wrong with it before he sold it to me.

Sounds like this guy knew something was bad and sold it before it exploded! I would start by going to his house with the parts in hand and talking to him very calm and rational, and if that doesn't work........bust open the whoop azz!! that sucks man, good luck!

He lives in Utah now and I am in Michigan.Thats a bit far unless I was comming that way to ride.

That thing ran fine? Compression test likely would have showed otherwise.
Totally Sucks....buyer beware on anything used. Sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes $#!T like this happens.
Good Luck

yup,

i had a sled that the internals looked similar to that before and it would start and idle fine and you could rev it up a bit just fine(like if you were checkin one out in a garage) but if you were ridin and held her open for a few seconds it would seize up due to a crank seal. sometimes you dont catch stuff until its to late. just out of curiosity if it ran fine, like you say, what gave you the urge to tear into it? there musta been somethin not right.

it is obvious that the seller knew this sled was major screwed up...as much shrapnel as went thru the cylinder and yet the plug shows no damage...that means it was changed before it was sold...that much material would have at the minimum closed the gap on the original plug............

Looks like he lost all of the cageless needle bearings down in the case and put it together and ran it anyway realized he screwed up put new plugs in it and sold it that way as a new fresh motor .

Got burned buying a used sled once, will never do it again! Dude on here sold me a sled that had a cracked jug. Sled ran fine sitting there at idle, but first ride out once it was really warmed up and under load, lost all the coolant with in the first mile up the trail head. This @sshat knew exactly what he was doing, when he sold me the sled. It's a sad deal when a guy can't trust another man's word in this day and age we live in. I've sold many sleds, cars, etc and always make sure they're in A1 shape, before it leaves my driveway. How people can stiff somebody else and sleep at night is beyond me! These kind of dudes need to get their @ss beat. If I get lucky enough to run across the j@ck@ss that stiffed me on the hill one day, I will be throwing an @ss whoopin on him straight up!! Might think twice about stiffing the next guy..

I would agrre..and I am sure that is why he is wanting to get someone else to come rering his new sled....with the post he made about loosing the needles on teardown of his 800 that would be enough for me to take him to small claims...that thread proves he has no mechanical ability and that he did tear apart the 800 motor.....and I would file it in the state I live in..he would have to either travel there or hire a lawyer..

My buddy is a mechanic and he just bought a new bore scope and brought it over for me to check it out so I pulled the plugs on the sled to see how it worked and saw the top of the cyl.The engine was out on the bench and apart in no time with the final result being bad as you can see in the pics.

Exactly!!
