does the power claw track suck or what

The PowerClaw is by far the best Track anyone has made, it is best for not only trail riding for the great traction and the manuevarbility it provides but it also will never trench out in the powder in my opinion.

The PC is a great track, if anyone wants to sell a 153" cause they do not like it hit me up. The best thing for going downhill is to use the brakes lightly and use the throttle enough to keep it backshifted, letting the sled freewheel down the hill and using just brakes is not the best plan for going down the hill.

the power claw is a horrible track... if you have a powerclaw and wanna get ride of it... or even TRADE ill be happy to sway my challenger with your powerclaw :) 153

powe claw

best track ive ridden
tap the brakes, i ride steep terrain and never even noticed a differeince in stopping, i thought it was better, but i rarely use the brakes..

love it..

The PC has longer lugs than the extreme, each lug is half the track if you lock it up it holds more snow and all your doing is creating the effect of a avalanche, snow on snow! A friend of mine has more or less the same sled with CE. He could slow down slightly better on Ice, not crusty snow but the kind you have to kick your toe into to get traction. Going up it was equal in the same conditions, any softer snow and he could go near as well. It is "far" better than the stock challenger if you know how to use it going down hill. Unless you live where the snow is always hard or climb shoots in the spring, the PC is the best all around track ever built.

I have had both on my m-7 and from my experience the power-claw is the best track you can put on any sled with 200 horsepower or less. Anything over that the camo-extreme might be a better option. the camo-x is alot heavier track and it does take some hp to turn effectively. and as for braking i have seen no difference between the two at all. Just my .02

The Power claw is very impressive.

Love the 162 on my 09 M8.

It flat out works and never lets me down in the bottomless fluff.

I can't see any other track being better.

I couldn't get over how well it worked in the deep powder last year.

I never have a problem going down steep hills.

Love mine!

My cousin put one on last year on his M7....ended up on my #1 mod list after seeing it perform. I ended up with the 90 duro. Anyone have any feed back on how they do in different conditions. Is there much of a difference in the deep stuff?

unless you have mechanical reverse or might be buying a new DD...

Mechanical or engine, doesn't matter as long as you do it right. It's not gonna switch over while the track is spinning.

I've done it hundreds of times with both models. Belts are under warranty!

Love my PC! Seriously if anyone wants to trade a 153 PC for a perfect Challenger 2-1/4... my brother would like trade. PM me.

I don't get it. I don't have one on, but the PC is just an A20 center section with fingers outside, right? The A20 was the best braking track ever made? The PC is the worst?

Powerclaw is the best track ever. period. I had no problems up or down last year. If it's too steep coming down, hit reverse and let er' bounce rev limiter:D Makes a cool avalanche in front of you.

PC is without a doubt the best track I have ever ridden. Wouldn't go back to a challenger...ever!

what a bunch of mixed reviews, I'm looking for a 141 2"+ track for going out west and I'm still on the fence on what to get.

have heard a few pepole say the power claw track sucks and it is the worst down hills i hope not i just picked up my 2010 m8 sno pro yesterday and i had a m7 once with the attack 20 track and it almost killed me once sure would hate to have to buy a new track already havent even got to ride this sled yet

I just took off a Camo Extreme went to the power claw best move I ever made....
