Do you still need to unplug wires with PC V

This has been bugging me for a while and I thought who better to ask than all of you. The PC V goes on after the ECU so does it render the ethanol wires useless or does the ECU richen the mixture and the PC V just add or subtract the fuel to what is on the map regardless of the wires. The reason I'm asking is that I'm heading to the bush country and premium is hard if not impossible to get, so I may be stuck having to use 87 octane with ethanol. Or am I going to have to build an ethanol map on my PC V? Thanks in advance Guys. It is on a 10 assault with the original flash!

As long as your pcv fuel map works correctly the ethanol wires function the same as a stock sled.
