Do you ride without a front Skid Plate?

Another product to use is Pledge in the can, liquid wax that lasts.
When I worked at boat shows it was a quick way to make everything clean, smell good and bead off water in case of rain.

What is the best skit palte to get for an 06 summit x? I found a couple on ebay that look long. I want to get the best belly coverage and control arm coverage. Any suggestions.

thanks

the OEM ski doo one is best i find
you can get em all over for 60-80 beans or so
ebay, here on on dootalk.com in the classified section

I hate mine too but I keep it on just in case. It helps if you knock the ice out a couple times a day and vaseline seems to work in most conditions at keeping it from sticking. BTW most ski doos don't don't have an oil pan despite what you might read as the reason for armor:face-icon-small-dis.

Instead of using the rivets to attach the skidplate, use those square plastic licence plate holders. The kind you would find on a step bumper. It's a bit of work to make the hole for them, but they work great.

Me and my ridding friends all use them, good insurance beats replacing exspensive body parts, used a silicone spray from the shop, it sheds snow like water on a duck. my .02
