Do you drive in the left lane?

Signal,
gesture....whatever!

Lmao!!

I pass in any lane thats open. On a few very rare occasions, its been on the very, very inside lane. Better known as the emergency lane. But you didnt hear that here!

LMAO....that was fun. Just sirring the pot...I hate the friggin slow drivers, get out of my way, I'm comin through!!
There is a car i see on the morning commute that has one of those windshield banners that is backwards so you can red it in the rear-view mirror, it says "MOVE RIGHT or SPEED UP" :beer;

I used to see a truck that said "keep right" with an arrow.

I spend about as much time on the road as most truck drivers and I tell you what I've never seen anything as bad as it is here in Texas. I was in Co a couple weeks ago and I like it there, for the most part people don't cruise the left lane and it's free sailing. I think some of the worst states for it are TX, OK, MN, KS, and IL, but TX takes the cake.

I've been known to pass semi's on the shoulder at 120 in my younger, dumber days. These days I'm usually going 80 trying to get people to move over when the roads are dry, when the roads are icy/snowy I'll be out of all of your way on the right.

here in MT the left lane doesnt get that much use and so there is often more debris (crap) in the left lane. Also, the left lane can remain snow covered for days after a a good snow and continued low temps which always makes for exciting travel. Right lane works good.

Sometimes on stretches of Highway that are real old has a right lane may be in poor condition compared to the left lane that doesnt get as much use. In that case i drive in the left lane.

The one I like is the lady that drives in the left lane doing 10 under the speed limit. i run into this idiot every morning. You can't dynamite this nutjob out of the left lane. Oh, and she drives with her brights on.

I have driven up behind her and flashed my lights, have left my brights on right behind her. I even passed her on the right and got in front of her, where I prompty started driving 40 (the speed limit is 65). She just slowed down and stayed in the left lane.

People like that, you should be able to ram.

You dont eat dust if you are in the front of the pack.

MT isnt that bad for this. There are usually enough of us speeding to keep the left lane open. But we do have alot that do not pull over any when they see a car pulled over on the side of the road, or when a hypo has somebody pulled over.

And I speed not because I am late, Just hate being passed and have a ****** passing people.

I move over if someone comes up behind me or flashes their lights, and no I don't get offended, I just figure they want by. I even move onto the shoulder when towing over passes to let people by. I leave the law enforcement to the cops.

Besides if they are driving too fast I want to see them pulled over later. :)

This is one of the reasons the US will never be an Autobahn. When I was living in Germany the Germans had alot of money tied up into their drivers license and they obeyed the rules of the road. Over there at the time there was no such thing as suspended license. You either have it or they yank it...for life! If you ar not in the process of making a pass, you have no business in the left lane at all. But usually it's 3 lanes. Right lane is trucks and other slow moving vehicles. Left lane is express lane and center is all other traffic.

I nearly lost my mind when I came back to the US and saw people linger in the left lane and pass so slow. Germany you pass as quickly as safely possible.

You think Texas drivers are bad in Texas? Try watching em in Colorado, throw a little snow on the road and it's downright hilarious!

I can't stand people dickin around in the left lane especialy when I am in the big wheel headin for a hill ....and I really hate them little basteges that pass you .....give you about 2 feet and then cram back in front of you ....them people should be shot

You need a Cowcatcher on the front of that Kenworth you just got. Then you could just grab a gear, and find a bit of new traction and keep on a truckin.

Here's some info

I thought you guys might like to know that there's actually a website dedicated to getting slow drivers out of the left hand lane. leftlanedrivers.org. On Motortrend's blog there are several comments about the leftlanedrivers.org and the sticker they promote. It seems that there are a ton of idiots who feel entitled to do the speedlimit in the left hand lane (read the comments).

XC700 is right. Texas drivers take the cake hands down. You don't need to put them in snow, just throw a little rain in the mix. You'd think they were driving in a frickin' ice storm. The typical left lane offender here is the big a$$ 2wd Suburban that hasn't been washed in 4 months, the front wheels have so much brake dust you'd mistake it for powder coating, the "my child is an honor student at XXXX elementary school sticker on the back window, dents in the bumper from backing into things and the idiot driver is carrying on a cell phone coversation.

Fosgate, I miss driving in Germany too. People understand that the license is a privilege.

I've actually seen people enter a deserted interstate, move across 4 wide open lanes just to drive in the left hand lane. WTF is that all about????

already ordered ....dumb arses down at Kenworth ordered the wrong one now gotta wait till the week of the 11th ...muh !!

How about those fuggers that drive in the left hand lane, holding up traffic while talking on their cell phones totally oblivious to the traffic problems they are causeing behind and around them??? I'm not usually a road rage guy, but when I see that, I just want to ram their a$$ off the road!
