Do any of you have a tow hitch on your RMK?

I'm concidering putting a tow hitch on my soon arriving new RMK 900 to be able to bring the whole family with me from time to time. Kids Are 2/4yrs and would need to be in a sleigh ( something like this http://www.brannapulkan.nu/Brannapulkan/comfort.htm )

Do you guys think it'll work ok the long RMK? We're only talking 10-20 mile trip out on trails to find a nic spot to barbeque etc.

Shouldn't have a problem with one. I install a hitch on every snowmobile I get as everyone where I am from. We tow around these sleds in pic and put quite a heavy load on them (gas, camping gear, and animals we harvest) so loads can get pretty heavy. We carry everything we need on these sled to go on trips for a couple days to a week and a few hundred miles. No problems with overheating or anything. Although mine is a short track but some buddies have long tracks rmks, summits etc and no problems with them.

I do it on all mine as well. Don't like the cheesy factory Polaris bumper swivel hitches though, thing is dangerous. I welded mine solid after learning the hard way. J-hitch and a brace to the tunnel, works great, sorry no pic's though.

Yes those ones are dangerous, also weld them solid or find one that doesn't swivel and make it work.

I have an 06 900 Switch Back...installed the factory Poo hitch and receiver, it is a touch heavier than the aluminum bumper but is 10X's stronger. I pull my kids and friends around in a 2006 Equinox 685 Snowcoach. I do not even know it's back there, doesn't have much hitch weight (which is the key). Buy the factory Poo it is made for your sled and tunnel.
