toying with the idea of parting my 1200 if enough people would be interested?

Who is building rack carbs for 1200's? I think its time to switch from my roundslides to a set of rack to ease the throttle pull.

Haydays is coming - dig around and you might find a set. Occasionally you'll find guys with parts for these motors F/S. Otherwise, find yourself a couple sets of carbs to work with and I suspect someone on the forums could do the work for you.

I had a set that Jim-aka-polarisrocks put together for me. A bored out set of xcr carbs that he spaced for me. Their working out great. Brad can bore them.

Hey Jim,

Yup I need a set of racks for my 1200. Whats the easiest way to go about it? My find a set and have you space them? Let me know.

Thanks
Tim

Snow is in the air.....

Was wondering if any of you have tried the Team Tied secondary on a 1200 yet?
If so, how's it working out?

I think I am going to try one this year, but don't know where to begin tuning wise.

I'm still running the button one, so a good set up for an older type Team roller would be good to know too. Then atleast they have conversion-charts.

What i'm using with the first team clutch is a black white spring with a 58-40/46 58-38/46 helix polaris primary with the black green spring and 70 gram polaris weights. This set rips for me at 3/6000. my motor is case and cylinder ported. Hope this helps.

My team set up was the same (as Larry's) helix. I also tried the black purple spring. 3-6k elevation.

Who has done this as a 1365? Trying to decide on stock bore or 910 cylinders.
What works good for pipes w/ 910 cylinders?

I wanted to do the 910 cylinders but there are far to many issues with them for me. Broken long studs, skirts breaking off.
