Disappointed Polaris Rider

To the review above^^^. Lets just put it this way the T3 is so bad I'd rather ride the arctic cat in backcountry then T3. It gets on edge easier because it is lazy with all the rubber bands they came up with for it ( better words "it falls over easier then the pro, not get on edge better) , but it does not stay on edge like the pro once it's there.

^lol, yes they are bandaid's for what started out a less than perfect chassis, I guess the chassis still is but anyway, with those bandaid's it is a very fun and easy sled to ride.

The only thing the pro did "better" was side hill. If that's all you care about then it's the perfect sled for you I guess. I prefer to do all aspects of mtn riding.

You obviously haven't ridden a t3, or if you have, it wasn't set up right at all because on hills where I had to stand on one side to side hill the pro I could just lean into the hill standing on both boards on my t3. It did take a little more balancing but they are stupid easy to ride...

And those bandaids poo damn near copied with the axys. Taller spindles, smaller tunnel, different cooler, lower rear skid, 7t drivers, 3" track, 800 ho lol... oh and a chaincase haha

If you dont like polaris great, go buy what you like, ride it and have fun. Dont come on here complaining about a company when all you have to do is go buy what you like. Nobody is making you buy or ride anything, the ball is in your court.

Wow, you poo guys can't handle anything can you? I tried to do an informative review of a pro vs t3 was all, I gave the pro credit where it was do, and made a few little jokes along the way.

come on guys take a little joke, yall poo guys get butt hurt to easy...

Any guesses on which manufacturer sells the most sleds this year? Are there any sales numbers from last year? Would be interesting to see if the numbers match what I see on the hill.

I will be on a poo because I like their innovative approach. I also like where they are going with the weights of these factory sleds. I'm still riding a 470 lb sled this year and it's 10 years old.:face-icon-small-con

Obviously I have ridden them a couple actually.. and all three were same opinion, if you are satisfied with a overall good trail sled/ meadow sled/ hill climb sled then settling must be your thing. I my self spend $13k on a mountain sled I want the best mountain sled. The Pro is just that and the axys will be better! You can keep your average T3 sled in all conditions, I'll take the best for riding backcountry..
As for copying,
taller spindles=cat
Narrow tunnel? = what are you talking about? Pro=15" xm=16" wide
Different coolers? Again what? To different designs!
3" track? Who cares most prefer 2.5, 2.6"
Ho motor= who hasn't called a ramped up version a HO
Lower skid= aftermarket came up with that
7t drivers= axys 2.6" comes with 8t, I may be wrong on this one
Chaincase? 2.6" axys still has belt drive!
Go eat another yellow snow cone

I had full intentions of buying a Summit X next year but they only offer it in a T3 and I have no use for a 3" track for around here. The new SKS has caught my eye and Im leaning towards that now. I have a friend that is trying to convince me to get a Doo but if I did it would have to be the SP because its the only one you can order with a 2.5. Yeah its cheaper than the SKS but when you add on all the same accessories, front end brace kit and upgrade the shocks, Im looking at the same price anyways. And the SP wont handle the same as the new Axys. If they offered the T3 chassis with a 2.5" track option, it might make my decision a little harder.

Isn't the sp in the t3 package with the option of 2.5 or 3 inch. I thought it had the new front end and rolled chaincase. Maybe it is only if you get the 3 inch.

I see you are right. I curious to ride a new t3 154 and see whether they still trench or not. If the new axys doesn't trench at all, like they claim, ski doo will be a little depressed.

The funniest part of this thread and many of the other Axys threads is the huge majority of people claiming how amazing it is and how good it's gonna be, yet they have yet to throw a leg over one! Especially those who are comparing a T3 to a sled they haven't even ridden (axys).

I am sorry, but if all I hear from you is that a sled you haven't ridden (axys) is so amazing over a sled you've watched others ride (T3) and you can't find a single positive thing to say about the other sled, your opinion is absolutely meaningless. Seriously, some of you need to grow up. Reading this thread makes me wonder if adults are posting or a bunch of kids in JR high. Credibility level = 0!

With that said. I have ridden a Pro for 4 years. I bought a T3 163 this year. I don't climb or ride open areas, I ride trees and ravines, but really, really love the technical tree riding. I feel completely confident on my T3. I had the chance to ride the Axys and there is a ton of positive improvements over the pro, but I am NOT completely and blindly sold on it. I will not be trading in my T3 for the axys. I will likely have a couple axys in my rental fleet next year and I look forward to getting some days in on them in a wider array of conditions to really see which sled I like better. But so far, I'm not convinced to switch over to the axys despite all the teenagers on here bashing the T3 because they simply ride a POO.:face-icon-small-dis

mtnpull your opinion is about as credited as the so called garbage on this thread as you say. You rode the new Axys for what 1/2 a day? And if your talking about my comments, I have ridden that turd of a T3 sled it's a joke! Again I've ridden 3 different T3's, 2 163 and 1 174 all three were not what I would call mountain friendly. Easy to ride yes for the lower skilled riders but on vertical slopes in set up snow or any condition it is completely unpredictable! I have as much time on T3s as you do on the Axys if not lot more. If you like your ski doo great, bit for me I think they are bad mountain sleds. Oh one more time I've ridden the T3 for those thinking I'm just throwing bad information out there, and yes compared to 13-15 pros the pro rmk is way better..

I believe this thread started out by somebody wondering why Polaris didn't offer a track longer than a 163, but once again it twists into this kinda sh!t.

Well, let me help you out just a little bit here. If you want people to value your opinion and give it any degree of credibility you can start by accepting the fact that there are aspects of every brand that can be positive or negative. You can stop lumping all ski doo / cat / yammi riders as "unskilled" riders that must only be able to ride the flats and point and shoot because obviously if they could ride steep technical they'd be on a Pro. I have ridden with dozens of Pro riders who can't ride steep technical terrain and dozens of doo riders who can. If you don't like a certain sled, then that is fine, but your approach of denying valuable qualities in a given sled and trashing anybody's else's opinion and riding skills to validate your point is what is childish and destroys your credibility. Unfortunately, I am sure your response will be to slander and belittle my skill level, my knowledge of equipment and overall try to lift yourself up by bashing others down. Hope it continues to go well for you.

My opinion is mine alone, I'm pretty sure what I have stated in this post is based on my experiences of the ski doo no need to sugar coat for anyone it's MY thoughts and experiences. I'm sorry you can not handle that, my observation of your response tells me maybe you should take a lesson in maturity, grow a pair man and learn to deal with a honest opinion.

Sled

Snopromod maybe u should show us all how u ride? Maybe post a vid or 2? U must b an expert backcountry rider? It's guys like u that make this forum worthless. Maybe it's the rider that can only ride one sled worth a sh@t. I own more than one and can put any of them in the same place. Give me a Viper and I'll come to your extreme backcountry riding areas lol. The t3 174 is a great sled that's easier to ride in all terrain. The pro is a great sled that's also capable of riding the same terrain. The new AXYS I don't have an opinion on because I don't own one? I wonder if I can b in this forum if I own one of each?
Thanks for your opinion snopromod :face-icon-small-dis
