differences between 05 and 06 M7s

Almost no real difference. The '06's had a slightly better fuel map in the ECU, different helix in the secondary, and I think the camoplast was optional?

John

no diamond drive difference and personally I think the 05 is better. It is lighter in weight as they beefed up the 06 because of peeps jumping and bending things. I don't jump so the lighter weight works for me. Fuel mapping is personal preference and if you run a control box it isn't an issue anyways. The mapping of the 05 will allow you to run twins without a fuel box in many applications.

The biggest differences I have found is the rear skid geometry. Holtz makes a kit to fix the geometry then in 06 cat changed the valving in the rear shock. You can get the Holtz kit if it is not all ready on the 05 and just have the 06 valving put in the rear shock.

Cheers Don.
